I'll probably do what I always do. First spend time choosing the right players based on skills, fixtures and other stuff, then maybe follow the team up until the 2nd game, then forget to fix the team by the 3rd game and then I'm out.

Besides, despite my brilliance I rarely get good scores. So there's definitely something wrong with the game.
