Seems very strange, he's too expensive to warm the bench but I can't see Cech going anywhere.

I wouldnt be surprised if we do go for him, he fits the profile of players we are signing of late in Ramires and Luiz. young, talented, hungry for success.

Well, I have heard for a while that he is high on the list of keepers that ManU wants after van de Sar leaves, and so if we can get him solely for that reason, I am OK with it. Let ManU get Neuer, who I don't rate as highly as De Gea.

We should get him come on he's much better then Turnball and Hilario because you know it's a big issue when Cech's not in goal its vital we at least get a decent back up goalkeeper he will come vital!

I wouldn't mind getting him, but I can't see why he would move to us to be our backup keeper and only getting a few games every season when he can probably go to some other team and play every game.

Also, he'd cost 20million or so...ridiculous if we'd be signing him for a backup.

But then again, he'd have no reason to come to us unless we sold Cech....

On revista la liga, they said that man it'd had agreed a fee and both clubs were happy, but all that is stopping the move is de gea being unsure whether he's ready to move. I don't want us spendind 20m on an area that is ok.

Goalkeeper is a very specific position, if you have a world class performer like Cech in front of you your chances of playing time are scarce. Most quality keepers can get a first team jobs someplace else, that's why we're stuck with the likes of Turnbull and Hilario.

If we manage to get De Gea , it would be cracker of a deal....I haven't watched much of Atletico games in La Liga this season...but had watched this fella play in last year's Europa league which they won eventually..was amazing in front of goal post and he is just 20 years old , so if you grab this player its like a investment for 12-14 years in future.
