Posted April 19, 201114 yr It was the early 70s...a horrid saturday that saw our home match with newcastle postponed....lots of chelsea decided to go to fulham v sheff weds..... forget the match...i met a gorgeous owls fan...blond slim n yummy........we spoke and had an attraction....we decided to meet again at hilsborough the following week (or so ) when chelsea played in an fa cup match.....we met....it was young love.....we held each other tight all the way back to my returning train.....we kissed goodbye....then i realised i lost her phone no......i wrote to sheff w fc to help me find her ......they printed a love story in their programme, which i still have, and eventually we were reunited....we dated for several months b4 the miles tore us apart...in 1991 i met up with her after all those years......we.d both put on a few pounds, but we had a good laugh.....her husband allowed her to have a couple of pints with me... we kissed goodbye....we will meet again if and when we play the owls in sheffield and if we are both still alive.

Sweet. I used to really fancy a girl in the next block of council flats, Julie. About the same time as the song "Julie, Julie do you love me"came out. I was shy young lad and she supported Leeds. It went nowhere.
