Posted May 8, 201113 yr I am absolutely convinced Carlo doesn't know what his best XI is and that is why we lost to United all three times. 4-3-3 is over for us until we can get two decent wide men, Zhirkov is good but Carlo hates him for some reason so won't play him. We have to make the 4-4-2 work. If I could pick a strongest XI for us it would be: GK: Cech RB: Ivanovic CB: Terry CB: Alex LB: Cole MF: Mikel MF: Essien MF: Ramires MF: Benayoun ST: Drogba ST Torres I'd like some views and feedback from others just to get a general idea of opinions.

May 8, 201113 yr At the moment: Cech Ivan, Luiz, Terry, Cole Ramires, Mikel, Lampard Kalou, Drogba, Malouda But its not good enough as proven today. I know Luiz had an awful game, & I was surprised Ivan didn't get sent off. What we need is to find a way of getting Torres back into form (the summer rest will help). Next year I would like to see us play with a proper right back. Buy 2 wide creative players & maybe someone to compete with Lampard. We also need a good back up gk. Cech has been my player of the year, imagine what would have happened if he had got injured as well.

May 8, 201113 yr Surely Mikel is no where near our best 11. He has failed again to do the basics in another big game. By form, Rameries is ahead of Essien, and Lampard would not make the first 11.
