Can't imagine you'd get any grief at most grounds, but I'd be wary of wearing any colours at Spuds, Old Trafford or the 'ammers
July 4, 201113 yr Watch out for that wab with the bell Personally I'd avoid the crowds with one so small, eg give 5 mins before leaving etc
July 4, 201113 yr Author Personally I'd avoid the crowds with one so small, eg give 5 mins before leaving etc Oh, I always do anyway, even when it's just me (sometimes my dad comes), I like to sit and reflect on the match for a bit. As for the bloke with the bell, didn't he change his name to Bill Portsmouth or something like that? :D Edited July 4, 201113 yr by Six Times

Doesn't surprise me with them. Thanks for all your help everyone. So where do you lot usaually have a drink when you go away to Pompey? Obviously I'm not going to be on the piss all day, but it would be nice if I could take my lad somewhere where we can have something to nibble on, and maybe one pint for me, where there will be some friendly faces around.

July 4, 201113 yr Author Think he's called John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood. Ah yeah, that's it, cheers mate. Away from football, isn't he quite a respected book seller/shop owner or something? or am I thinking of the Leeds fan with a tattoo on his head?

Yeah he runs a bookshop, remember seeing him on a TV program a while back. Gotta hand it to him, he is totally dedicated to his club.
July 4, 201113 yr I've been taking my son since he was 4, he's now 8 and loves it. he goes home and away and loves the whole experience, the pub the singing and of course the game. yes in the beginning he was nervous but that soon passed. Just be ready for all the questions, whats this dad, whats that dad, what are the words to songs dad, which is not good when they have swearing in them, so make it up. We will be going down to Portsmouth in a few weeks and he is counting the down the days, as is I Roll on the new season....
