Chelsea Fan From Moscow, Russia. First Time in London

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

My name is Victor. I work and live in Moscow but this summer I'm on a sort of vacation, spending great time here, in London. I am a huge Chelsea fan and always watch CFC games back home in a pub. I wonder do you, guys, have special place (or places) where Chelsea fans always watch games on TV? I ask because I can't really afford buying tickets on first two games against West Brom and Stoke so I want to watch both matches somewhere. So do you have such places in mind?

And my second question is about Cobham training ground. Can someone actually visit it and watch practice? Or maybe team have some open days or open practice at Stamford Bridge before Premier League starts? This is my first time in London and I don't really know how things work.

Thanks,

Victor

Yes go to fulham broadway on match days.

Got to a pub called Brogans, exit the fulham broadway station and turn right. walk for maybe 3 minutes and you'll see it. There will be lots of people around on matchdays.

You could also go to the bar in chelsea village?

Have fun!

Hi Victor, the training ground is pretty much a no go area unless you have an invite or have won a competition allowing you on to the premises I'm afraid however it might be worth calling the club explaining that you are coming over from Russia and would like nto visit the training campus. Still unlikely you'll be successful but if you don't ask then you don't get.

The guys above have given you some pointers for pubs and Brogan's is your best bet. With regards to the bar at the Bridge - it isn't a bar anymore, it's now a restaurant which is part owned by an Arsenal fan!!

Whatever you decide to do I'm sure you'll have a great time visiting Stamford Bridge and I strongly suggest you do a ground tour and also take in the newly opened museum to get the full benefit of your visit
