Well Arnesen would appear to be fully in charge of the recruitment there, so you'd have to blame him for effectively replacing experienced defenders like Mathijsen and Demel and with our kids, which meant that the likes of Mancienne and Bruma had to be thrown in at the deep end against Bayern. I would think that if there were better options available, the manager would have used them, so it has to come down to the person in charge of transfers.

I watched the replay of their game against 'Gladbach. Have to say the only things keeping them from getting spanked were Rajkovic and their goalkeeper. Both we excellent. My man Marco Reus tore them to bits, some of the through balls he played were brilliant.

Mancienne especially was very ordinary.
