I think some of them are harsh such as Luiz and especially Ramires, whilst Malouda and Lampard's ratings are generous.

Anyone played the demo yet? it's pretty good and as always I'll be buying it when it comes out

Mata's rating seems very harsh as its less than Malouda's. Also Wilshere is apparently 87 so it doesn't really make sense

Yep. Playing the demo right now and its looks brilliant. The player physics are much better and it feels much more realistic on the whole. Pretty much faultless.

Play with every control set to manual, and it feels absolutely brilliant. Oh, and those rating looks very generous to me too. I imagine there will be changes when the full version comes out.

The player impacts are really brilliant and funny at times.

Love the celebrations, you have to avoid getting mobbed by your teammates to pull off the custom ones.

Also, Andy Gray is off the commentary.

The Chelsea ratings look suspiciously similar to the FIFA 11 ratings. Ramires has surely warranted being at least an 80?

Downloaded the demo and I don't think its changed very much at all. I think I'll wait till Fifa 13

The special edition I believe is geared towards the Ultimate Team feature where you get 6 gold packs a month for 6 months. It's defiantly worth it if you're into Ultimate team but not really worth if it you are not going to bother with it.

WIlshire is 87 because he is on the cover in the UK. Can't have someone as an 81 on the cover. Kaka will still have a big rating even though he hasn't had a great 12 months.

It's a pretty addictive feature to be honest, it's like a trading card game where you buy/sell players for coins to create the ultimate team on a bronze/silver/gold level. Though you need to have the right chemistry too, so you can't just buy all the best players in the world

Have a look about online, it's a good feature but i found that i got bored of it after a while of playing.

New leagues? Teams? Features?

What I would enjoy the most is the ability to set multiple lineups in your manager mode and be able to pick one before each game. It seems so obvious, not sure why it's never been implemented.

Transfer engines have been improved, and the all important transfer deadline day will now be a feature in itself. Game time will be slowed to advance by the hour, allowing you to wheel and deal right up to the window closing. You will also be given the option to stall transfers if you're working on multiple targets.

There's also a new mode called Football Club, where players can earn points in a global league for their club by playing matches online.

Just noticed the Youth Academy tab on the side of that picture, hopefully that will be in some depth because bringing through your own, new youth was a mojor problem in fifa 11. You either had to stick with the youth you get at the begining of the career (for example Josh) or buy some in. You had no real control over it.

Amen. I hated how players progressed in the last one. Loans did nothing for them. I liked 2 years ago where you got experience points to spend on players, so you could dictate how they were growing and what type of player they would turn into.

I have never seen something like that. Remember how? I'll keep an eye out for something like that.

Still dont know if I should get it now for release or wait a bit?!
