Lets Go 4-4-2!

Unlikely to happen. AVB seems very set on 4-3-3, or 4-5-1 however you look at it. He has no problems playing people out of position to suit this system, but he rarely adapts the system to suit the personnel we have available.

I have been saying since we lost natural width in the side we haven't the players to play 4-3-3. Despite Carlo winning the double he never played anyone in the Kaka role or bought a playmaker in the defensive role as he did with Pirlo.

That smacks of 'player power' or more to the point players that won trophies under Jose's way felt more comfortable playing 4-3-3.

When AVB has showed great character to leave out the likes of Drogba,Lampard and Terry I thought hey, this geezer means business and is just what we need to take Chelsea forward.

What has happened in the last few months smacks of someone not only out of his depth but one without the brain to make tactical decisions under pressure.

I'd play Drogba with Sturridge and Mata just behind.

With Essien, Lampard and Ramires

Suddenly offensively we look dangerous and goals look a possibility.

Terry and Cahill need to be paired and I would play Luiz right back.

Malouda, Bosingwa and Meireles should be shafted out in the summer they are simply

not good enough for Chelsea FC End of Story

Hiddink done it when he arrived, with Drogba and Anelka and it had brilliant results.

4-4-2 with a midfield of essien, lampard, ramires and romeu. use the wing backs, Torres up front with Mata feeding him.

Where's Sturridge? Not enough creativity in that lineup.

Crazy thought -- 4-4-2 with Drogba and Torres?

I know Carlo tried it a bit at the beginning, but that was a different situation. Torres was being selfish a year ago, as was Drogba. They just didn't click. Now, Torres seems happy to set up teammates, and has been the only creative force we have, along with Mata. 4-4-2, with Torres playing slightly off Drogba --- like Rooney played a little behind Welbeck?

i thought about it for a long time now.

people were saying drogba and nando cant play together, but at this point you can just as easily say nando cant play at all and drogba can barely play.

with mata and torres behind drogba i feel its worth a try

or

4-4-2
