  1. RLC hasn't been bad in the chances he has had, has he? Not from what i've seen. And CERTAINLY no worse than Fabregas. Surely we can give this guy a run in the side. We need to be putting some trust in this guy if he is to be as good as we believe he can be. If JT came through the academy to the first team this year, same as he did in 2000, i wonder if he would be getting a chance like he did in his first year after being on loan to Forrest. Pretty sure he was our player of the year that year!!
  2. Would be a terrible idea to sack Jose, agreed. But Ivan, Cesc, Matic to an extent, should not be allowed near the match day 18, let alone first 11!
  3. How many games has Ivan been terrible for this season? Bring in baba and give him the same amount of games to earn himself a spot in the line up. Can't do any worse than Ivan surely?! We miss JT's organisation & leadership. Whether he's partnered by Cahill or Zouma i'm not really bothered at the moment.
  4. Blimey - i'd be biting their hand off to swap Eden for Bale! Only 2 years between them...
  5. Matic below par - yes - but he has the desire for the full 90 minutes every game. Regardless of the score. Not many of our players have that. We normally look bette rgoing forward with the inclusion of Oscar, but we were missing something at the weekend against Newcastle. I'm not sure what it was, but to me it looked like Newcastle got men forward to attack Chelsea, and the second they lost the ball they were parking the bus. 10-11 men behind the ball immediately for every counter or attack that we had! I'm not a massive fan of Rami, i think Rami & Willians pace and work rate helped us against Newcastle more than anything. Rami can't tackle, hes a bit of a liability with that - so i am never too keen to see him alongside Matic in that holding role. We won the league 2 seasons with Mourinho playing 4-3-3 almost. Whats the objection to switching to that? We have the width. We would have more width if we dropped ivan, switched dave to right and put baba on left!
  6. I think the first goal for Newcastle at the weekend showed the leadership we miss in JT. Whether Zouma had a shout from Ivan or not is another matter, but a ball in like that would've been dealt with one way or another. I think the argument to leave JT out and give Zouma more time does have some substantiation, however without JT, we don't have that leadership we need. Vice Captain Ivanovic likes to shout about for his own cause, but captain material i think not. Tibo - Zouma - RLC - Costa. We have a good spine there. Costa is no older than Drogba when we first signed him, in fact i think Costa may have signed at a younger age, so there is no reason why that spine couldn't last 10 years if they get their game time together, and if Zouma and RLC develop into the players we all know they have the potential to be then this could be a very attractive spine. I like the point about world class players in our ranks. Compare our team on paper to that of current European champions Barcelona - do we have a world class team? A better goalkeeper? Arguably A better centre back? no A better cm? i'd say no A better forward? Definitely not i know a team's performance isn't made on paper, but given some of the squads we've had over the last 12 years since the Roman takeover - i dont think this one would be near the top.
  7. Hand on heart, I honestly don't think there is any thing like that going on behind the scenes at all.
  8. In the defence of those saying 'mourinho out' and the like, and subsequently getting slaughtered by some - this is an open forum isn't it? So regardless of controversy, people should feel free to post their opinions without fear of being ganged ! That being said, I personally think the calls for Jose's head is absolutely ridiculous and it will stay that way regardless of what happens this season. Until you show me - and prove to me - that there is a better man out there for this club than Jose, that will never change. Mourinho is a legend, and getting us out of this stutter to a top 2 / 3 (at worst) finish this season, and champions next season is all part of the dynasty he is creating every day.
  9. Well he's never been given his chance under Jose and only Jose can tell you why. Perhaps he hasn't seen enough in training to convince him, but imo Moses had a solid pre season.
  10. Yeh great play and great pace. Although was nowhere near crossing the line lmao
  11. Both are obviously loved at Chelsea and both have gone down in Chelsea legendry history. But if you had to make a list of players in order of how they rate in your opinion in our history, who would finish higher out of these two? Zola 7 years - 312 Games - 80 Goals Drogba 8 Years - 341 Games - 157 Goals By the way i found this video which is pretty good;
  12. http://www.chelseafcemporium.co.uk/chelsea-198385-away-shirt-yellow-p-313.html
  13. Isn't Bertrand a left back? And Kakuta a left midfielder? And ramires a centre / right midfielder? I cant see Courtois coming back to us to sit on the bench behind cech. He wont be with us for at least another two years i would imagine. I hope that in your centre backs you mean a rotation between the three, and not that Cahill should be our first choice CB with Luiz & JT rotating lol? Also, from what ive seen so far, Lukaku isnt good enuogh/ isnt ready for Chelsea. Id like to see a move for Demba Ba in the summer, to replace Didier. And if Sturridge keeps on being greedy (his game against leicester was nothing short of an embarrassment!) then i couldn't care less if he goes whether he scores 100 more goals than Torres or not. I only see Jimmy (ramires) as a centre midfielder, playing next to Lampard is ideal, with Mata infront. Essien isnt the player he used to be/hasnt got it back yet, and McEachran does need another season somewhere due to not playing much for the Swans at all. Despite all i have been saying before, i would probably keep mikel, offload Merieles for sure. I agree Kakuta should be brought back and given a chance i would like to see that and also a move for a creative winger in the summer is a must. But with that said, I would literally love to see us playing 4-4-2 for the rest of the season. Ive been saying it for weeks. For what its worth: Cech Ivanovic - Terry - Luiz - Cole Kalou - Lampard - Ramires - Mata Torres - Drogba And whats more, you'll be a man, my son.

  15. Carefree, Wherever you may be, we are the famous C F C. And we don't give a f*ck if your name is Napoli, cos we are the famous C F C! COME ON CHELSEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3-0 Chelsea. :)
  16. Real fans dont want him anymore just like they dont want Mourinho. Well some of them - not all of course. I could see this happening, as I believe Real will drop their price for him. One of those 'if the player wants out he'll get out' situations.... Unless we see a carlos tevez situation again lol
  17. Over the moon about this decision. Genuinely am. Well over due, the guy should never have been appointed in the first place. Never know how we'll finish up the season though, so never say never for fourth! But my question is, what the f**k is wrong with you people blaming frank and cole? Its not like they haven't put in commitment for the team this season is it? I mean HOW MANY GOALS HAS FRANK SCORED FOR US THIS YEAR???????? CANNOT BELIEVE you are all so quick to slag him off....... you should be disgusted with yourselves absolutely ashamed for one of the clubs true legends. Absolutely nothing to do with him, and you all who are saying its down to his 'attitude' should stop reading so many newspapers. He plays, he scores goals (a lot), so its not like he hasn't done his best for the club. AVB is at fault for this because AVB could not pick the right side, right tactics, right motivation, right anything in fact. Well done Abramovich. I was genuinely worried you'd stick by this one! 6/1 on Mourinho to return looks nice. my monies on it.
  18. Premierleague Obv WON 1 - 0 v Sunderland (H) 14 Jan 2012 DRAWN 0 - 0 v Norwich (A) 21 Jan 2012 DRAWN 1 - 1 v Swansea (A) 31 Jan 2012 DRAWN 3 - 3 v Man Utd (H) 05 Feb 2012 LOST 2 - 0 v Everton (A) 11 Feb 2012 WON 3 - 0 v Bolton (H) 25 Feb 2012
  19. Ive selected 100 - 150, which doesnt include any money recouped from player sales - but does include the huge amount we're gonna give to AVB to do one, and bring in a new manager.
  20. What I would like to see for this game: Cech Ivan - Cahill Ferreira Bertrand Essien - Lampard Ramires Mata Sturridge - Torres What I think we will see: Cech Terry - Cahill Ivan Cole Essien - Ramires - Lampard Mata Kalou Torres
  21. So Saturday we face West Brom. A team that - whether home or away - we seem to not have trouble scoring goals against, averaging 2.82 goals per game against the Baggies, compared to their less prolific 0.36! However, on current form, they beat our record. 10 points from their last six games, Chelsea only have 9 - one less win (2) than theirs (3). We have however scored one more goal (10) than them (9) in the same amount of games. My prediction? I'll go with 3-0 Chelsea. Lampard, Sturridge and Mata to grab them. I also think we'll see maybe 4 or 5 yellow cards. Thoughts?
  22. TonyT1988's predictions 1. 10/03/12 Stoke City (h) [win 3-0] 2. 19/03/12 Man City (a) [loss 4-2] 3. 24/03/12 Spurs (h) [draw 2-2] 4. 31/03/12 Villa (a) [draw 1-1] 5. 07/04/12 Wigan (h) [win 2-0] 6. 09/04/12 Fulham (a) [draw 0-0] 7. 14/04/12 Newcastle (h) [draw 1-1] 8. 21/04/12 Arsenal (a) [loss 4-1] 9. 29/04/12 Q.P.R. (h) [draw 1-1] 10. 05/05/12 Liverpool (a) [draw 1-1] 11. 13/05/12 Blackburn (h) [win 2-1]
  23. But thats a fantastic stat isnt it? Only joking. But in all honesty it is a case of having to bring somebody in. Lets throw some names out there..... If we look to buy from players based here already: Leon Best Why not? Would I want him? No Demba Ba Loves Newcastle too much? Would I want him? No Emmanuel Adebayor Loves Spurs, but his loan will be up, will they make a move to get him permanently? Will he want to stay there if Redknapp leaves? Wouldn't put it past him to judas once more. Would I want him? Yes - definately Robin van Persie If Arsenal fail for 4th spot, I can really see him leaving this time. if we get fourth spot, I can see him being tempted. But when it all comes down to it, i dont think he would do that to the Arsenal. Would I want him? Yes
  24. Pretty sure we paid around £12m for him after the whole Man Utd fiasco. 5-10 million would be a nice amount tbh. I wouldnt care less if he leaves today!
  25. This happened after the game apparently http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7537325/Villas-Boas-I-m-the-boss
