Ticket information?

Featured Replies

Just purchased my membership for next season and I have a question regarding purchasing tickets for next seasons home games.

When purchaching tickets will I be able to buy them for me and a friend? Mine being through the membership of course and my friend who doesn't actually own one? Not sure if this can be done or not as I don't exactly want to be going to home games alone next season!

Thanks lads

No, he'll have to be a member as well and then you'll have to add him through the 'friends & family' option. Or you can find any member you know and add them if they haven't already got tickets

Obviously if the tickets are on general sale it won't matter and you could buy two then...

Can't see too many games going on general sale this season though.

Thanks mate, that's what I thought after reading through the membership area on the website.

Have to agree with you on the general sale tickets also, was hard enough getting Europa League tickets last season through general sale and that was without JM at the club.

Thanks again mate!

It's worth bearing in mind as well that I think (check this though) that anyone can use a member's ticket.  So if you want to go to quite a few games but have friends/family who may only want to go with you to a couple each, you could buy an extra membership for A N Other.  If they then pay you the non-members ticket price, between them they will cover the cost of the extra membership to you.  I think that would work - my niece bought me tickets last year on her friend's membership when they didn't want to go.

I've had to break this news to my daughter. She'd like to be at Jose's first home match but I think I'm going to have a hard enough job getting one ticket with my (newly, proudly purchased) membership... I can't see there being much chance of me being able to get two tickets once the members' initial allocation of one each has been offered next week.

Hull tickets go on sale Monday, right? I doubt I'll be able to get any as I'll still be waiting for my mate to purchase his membership, by the time he's got his they'll have already sold out I imagine

Yep, the online box office opens at 7am. Have set my alarm clock for 5am ... this is not a match to be missed.

As for not wanting to go to the match alone, I'd rather that than miss it altogether. I've gone on my own on several occasions, since I was about 15 years old. It's not as if I'm surrounded by people with whom I have nothing in common when I'm there!

Your call of course but I wouldn't let not having my friend with me put me off if I were you... you won't be the only person in that situation.

Just realised I have absolutely f****d up the membership

Purchased a junior membership last night without realising the consequences (I can only purchase a Junior membership anyway as I'm 16 but that's not the point). Only East Upper and Family stand tickets can be bought through a Junior membership, might just buy another and lie about my age - I'm that desperate for a membership this season.

Will I get a ticket on Tuesday?

If you do I think you will be lucky. Loads of people will want to be at Jose's 1st game back. Lucky for me I will be up before 7 for work anyway so can hopefully get one

How long did you have to wait. Been sitting in waiting room close to 40 mins

Yep same, doesn't seem like we will be getting tickets then....

That's weird. I had the page for tickets already open (ie the one which gives you the option of buying tickets for the Hull match or for the dinner with former players). Of course until it got to 7am there was just the message saying that this is when tickets went on sale. At 7.01, having tried and failed to get Firefox to load the page I moved on to Chrome, copied and pasted the web address and got straight through to the ticket page option. My card details were already saved from having bought the membership so all I had to do was add my security number, repeat my email address, choose where I wanted to sit and agree to the T&C.

I was so excited I didn't even look to see where I was actually allocated a seat in the MH until I'd paid for it!

And sorry, I assumed it would be the same for all if it was that easy for me. Didn't mean to gloat.

Hang in there, you'll get there... I think that's what Blueblur was trying to say too weren't you Blueblur?!   :tease:

Perhaps try loading another page or two and keep checking them alternately?

its a joke. Should have put a points basis. Proper f**king free for all. Also to the people getting up at half 6 and waiting in the waiting room your wasting your time. Me and my brother used to get ours whilst at work on our phones and on several occasions one of us had been waiting for ages and the other logged on 10 or 15 minutes later and got in first!

I think when Jose was announced they should have realised the demand for first game would be huge. Should have done loyalty points for this game from last season.

That's what they are doing for Man Utd away.
