This is baffling how he hasn't featured at all recently. He has been slower and a bit rusty, but surely he still has plenty to offer.

True, although I'd prefer to see Cesar in his usual position on the right, with Ivan sharing the role or else taking the centre back position when Terry or Cahill missing.

I agree with you. Saturday looked like the time to get Ash back put Dave at right back  and play Cahill and Ivanovic in the centre.  We could have had Matic and Luiz again in front of that.  Obviously none of us knows what is going on with Ashley Cole but it doesn't look like Jose is saving him for something later, it just looks like he's out of the reckoning.  At this rate Baines will get the left back call for the WC, Ashley might not even travel if they go for Luke Shaw.  

Right now i'd have Azpi over him but Cole who hasn't been at his best this season can still come in a do a job.I was surprised he didn't play on Saturday,I think he's off in the summer anyway.
