How quickly do games sell out?

Featured Replies

I'm wanting to get tickets to Schalke and Bolton at home but my mate doesn't have a membership. Both tickets go on sale 8th September to get an extra two tickets. Will they be sold out by then?

Champions League group games don't sell out fast. I think you may be okay on that one, especially as the tickets will be sold at short notice.

Never been to a League Cup game but I can imagine you should be able to get them for that. Especially as it's not a big side.

Why doesn't your friend get membership? He is then guarenteed to get tickets for both games.

True, but if they want to save money, im 99% certain that he won't need membership for these two games.

I live in Texas but have booked flights for my wife and I to come across the pond to London for the Burnley fixture on February 21.  This would be my first time seeing CFC in person, and I would really appreciate some help on some questions I have....

- I got two True Blue memberships (one for me, one for my wife), and if I log on January 12 the minute they become available for sale, what's the likeliness that I will be able to purchase tickets for the two of us?  I would assume I'd have zero loyalty points since I haven't attended any other match.

- Also, if I have the two memberships, and I'm buying tickets, do I have the option of getting the seats right next to each other or are they just two seats at random?

I've thought about just getting one of the bronze hospitality packages for us, but at 234 pounds ($388) each, that is obviously a whole lot of money.  So if I can get just two regular tickets, I'd feel a lot better about that.  But since it's such a long trip to try to catch just one match, just want to feel super safe that I'll be able to get in to see the Blues in person.

Thanks for the help!

I doubt the Burnley game will be sold on loyalty points, so you should be OK to get 2 tickets if you're on the site as soon as they go on sale as you have bought the 2 individual memberships.

If you buy them together they come up on the screen so you can see if they are next to each other. You'll also have a choice of stands to sit in - if you want a bit of singing and livelier atmosphere go for the Shed or Matthew Harding (also the slightly cheaper seats). If you're more into the view/comfort you should go for the East / West stands which are a bit more expensive and haven't got as much (any) singing.

The hospitality packages are expensive and in my opinion don't give you a real Chelsea experience if that's what you're after (again, just my opinion).

You should put a message in the 'meeting up' section of the forum closer the time and someone on the forum might be able to give you a hand on the day. I'll happily share a pint if I'm at the game - used to live in Texas when I was younger, so always happy to help a Texan!

And don't forget to link the memberships under friends and family so you can buy them both together with one log-in.  You can then select two tickets to buy and It will automatically select two seats together.
