I noticed that touts were charging up to £5 for tickets for the game against Moscow Dynamo in 1945. A lot of money in those days.

Great article, thanks for sharing. Supporters throughout the generations, attending matches at our wonderful stadium, are what make this club great. I can't wait to make it to stamford bridge myself.

Didn't know where to put it but this seemed appropriate.

 

While I knew Chelsea has always had a strong following, did you know that between 1908 and 1926, of the 15 seasons played Chelsea had the highest attendance of any club in England for 9 of those seasons?  That was before AFC/MUFC or even LFC topped the attendance tables even once.  Funny that, history.
