Barton at it Again

This boy really needs some sort of lengthy ban, AGAIN he drags his studs down the back of another player's ankle... Will try and find a clip if and when its posted. This player has the nerve to hit out at Lampard and Gerrard, at least neither of them are little sh*ts who appear to go out to cause injury. Also came out today claiming he doesn't think some players at Man City have the same desire and ambitions as him... Why he's allowed to have some of our oxygen I'll never know.

And ahahahaha, now they're 1-0 down. Com'n Joey, show your ambition. Just wipe the skin off yout studs first you little scouse prick.

Well, it is difficult to tell the difference between his arse and his face.

I don't want to go al Keegan on people, but I would love it, absolutely love it if someone did the same to him and got away with it. I'd laugh. SO much, I'd be in hysterics. I know two wrongs and all that stuff, but this is the exception to the rule. He really makes no effort to get the ball, just to tear the other players' calf into threads.

There are a few players in football that it wouldn't be unfair to say merit a serious injury at least once in their career. Barton is one of them. Roy Keane was always one for me as well, and so is RObbie Savage.

If you put your foot in dangerously too many times there can be little sympathy when someone cuts you in two at some point.

I don't mean eye for an eye, i.e a player who commits one or two bad fouls from time to time is not in this category, I am talking about players who habitually put in dangerous tackles.

I watched the game in the pub and we were all laughing at her, sky did brilliantly to pick her out i bet she's getting some sh*t from her friends icon_lol.gif

I think Barton went to show his arse at his own fans but thought better of it, it was funny hearing the city fans sing "your not fit to wear the shirt" so he threw it at them, not really the best way to endear yourself.

I'm surprised though how bad City are I would have thought Pearce would have done better than he has.

I used to quite like Barton. He is actually a decent player when he puts his mind to it and he at least shows passion. However, I must admit he is getting rather too big for his boots and would love it (as Gem would say!!) if he gets done big time by someone soon - preferably by one of our boys tomorrow.

As for Pearce, he seems to be yet further proof (as if any were needed), that just because someone does well as a player and they say all the right things, it doesn't necessarily make them management material.

Keane should, seriously, have done time for that foul on Haaland. I know it was 'retribution' for his serious injury sustained at Leeds that kept him out for a year but that clip was on the video too and Haaland barely touched him (although he did mouth off at him, which was out of order but hardly merits having your career ended in retaliation)

Keane was/ is a truly nasty piece of work but was still an amazing player. Not a genius with the ball or anything but a driving midfielder who could inspire his side to great things. I hated the way he walked out on his country before the World Cup, but thought his display at Juventus in the CL SF in 1999, when he was booked and knew he'd miss the final, was phenomenal - unlike Gascoigne's pathetic on field collapse that catapulted him to legendary status.

The Keane injury wasn't evena foul by Haaland - it was a foul by Keane - he injured himself trying to hatchet Haaland. The Keane red mist was because Haaland had a go at him when he was lying on the ground injured.

It was a little justice when keane's career was finally ended by injury - I say little as it would have been real justice if it had happened when he was about 26
