New strikers for next season

Well if Drogba does stay on I would actually have no problem with that if he's a fourth choice in case of an emergency. Costa, Remy, Bamford and Drogba sounds quite good to me.

Quite happy with that.

I'd go all in for Bale,50 million would do it I'd say.

He would be like Sanchez and guarantee 15-20 goals a season. With Eden chipping in with 15 or so as well I

think that's plenty firepower.Sell a few fringe players and get another CM and we're good to go.

£50 mil won't get Bale

Chicharito anyone?

He must be fed up being a back up striker.

At 26 he probably has to move a step down(from Man Utd,Real Madrid) to

a club where he plays every week.In this country that would

probably be someone like Spurs or Liverpool.

Depends how Madrid get on for the rest of the season. If they bomb in the CL and

don't win the league he will get the blame. The Madrid media hate him and the fans

will turn on him even if it's not his fault. In that case I can see them getting rid.

You may be right though may have to go to £60 million.

They're in the quarters if they went out it can't be considered a bomb, a bomb would be not getting out the group. Real Madrid paid a world record fee for him I don't see them going below what they paid really, unless they are desperate to get rid.

Also Bale has said himself he doesn't want to leave so it would take something to convince him to join us.

Speaking of former Chelsea strikers, apparently Kezman scored 7 goals for us in his sole season at the club.

Other than his goal in the league cup final I have no other memory of him scoring for us.

He got 7 in 40 appearances. Given Torres' eventual record and that Kezman was 1/10 of the price maybe he would have done well to stick around?

My main memory of him was leading the line at home to Barca superbly despite not scoring that night.

That can't be right surely. I only remember that goal in the final, and the penalty he chipped in off the bar at home to Newcastle.

4 in the league including a brace against Palace, 2 in the league cup and 1 in the FA Cup according to Wikipedia.

Hmmmm... You're right. I thought he scored two or three in total, including a pen. He played right wing a lot if I remember.

I think the nicest thing I can say about him is despite his lack of goals, he didn't leave too many bad memories (unlike a certain someone). It's like he left none at all - other than steaming down the right for one of the goals against Barca at the bridge.

Costa

Remy

Bamford

Traore

That'll do me, no money spent on strikers, means more money available to try and get Bale and Pobga.

---------------------------Matic/Mikel----------------

--------------------Pobga/Ramires/RLC-----Cesc/Oscar/RLC

Bale/Willian/Cuadrado/Traore-------------------------Hazard/Bale/Remy

-----------------Costa/Remy/Bamford/Traore

Too much FM  mate. No manager can keep that squad and it would harm the youngsters. We will surely fail FFP with such bloated squad.

We should sell Mikel and Ramires to make place for Pogba and RLC and put Brown in as 4th choice winger and 4th choice striker.

Matic-Fabregas-Pogba-RLC

Oscar-Baker

Hazard-Cuadrado-Willian-Brown

Costa-Remy-(Tevez?)-Brown
