I think he would be better suited to a back 3 actually. He would have the freedom to charge forward as he likes knowing he has two centrebacks to cover him.

Dear me if I'd known McGrath would still be available, I wouldn't have picked my centre backs so early on.

I suppose if you've got Mascherano in front of him, he's more the apt at dropping back into the defence (although was Liverpool Mascherano able to do this or did he develop that side of his game at Barca?). 

 

Desailly and Hyypia weren't exactly blessed for pace so you better hope no one drops one over the top of those two when Luiz goes walk abouts.  

Well as an emergency tactic, thankfully I won't have to explain how it won't be a total disaster.

Wasn't in his prime but was still terrific for Villa in his later years, One of the finest centre halves I've seen play.

This is killing me - there is an absalout top notch center back, that in the looks department could easily play with my back line and no one taking him. I can't just give him to Jonty
