Time to give Klopp a call.

Mourinho is a world-class manager. If he wasn't at CFC, he'd be in great demand. I'm not even sure that most of us know much about Klopp, beyond the main facts and headlines. Even the facts support the contention that Jose is the superior manager.

The key unknown here (and the only important consideration) is what RA thinks and how patient he is. Hopefully he is patient and knows that Jose is the right man for the future and that form is temporary.

There's no denying he's a great manager but my feeling is and although I keep getting attacked for it is that something has seriously gone wrong behind the scenes. Doesn't matter how good of a manager you're, if you've lost the players it's over. Nobody can tell me that things are great and this is just a blip. This is the defending champions in case anyone forgot.

Are you for real ?

Did he not take us to the champions league final? Did he not mount a title challenge losing it on the final day? He might be a sh*t manager but you're trying to portray his time at the club as a failure when it wasn't.

Only thing wrong is that he has lost the dressing room. I've said this and I'll say it again; the players are not playing for him. I knew we would lose this game easily and I know arsenal will smash us next week. Throughout jose's time at the club I never felt like that and that includes when we lost to Spurs or Psg.

Either roman calls a club meeting and sorts out what's going in behind the scenes or gets a new manager.

Why the hell would he lose the dressing room only a few games after he won us the league ? You make no sense.

I will happily take him right now

Another one that is ignoring the fact that Klopp had Dortmund in the relegation zone for over half the season last season. If Klopp had us in the relegation zone would you then be asking for him to be sacked too ?

It's like people think that getting rid of a manager is suddenly going to make us amazing again.

A useless manager with a squad anyone else would have won something with.

It is a huge call to make after only five games. How do you KNOW that he's lost the dressing room?

With respect, you wouldn't last long as a supporter of most teams as most of us accept that we are not always (or even often) going to be on top and that success is not guaranteed.

JM will sort things out, given time.

Yeah Scolari did such a wonderful job with that same squad didn't he?

Hey I hope you're right but no one is going to force me to join the herd because my opinion doesn't chime with the rest. My opinion is this team is no longer playing for the manager. i sincerely hope I'm wrong and it's just a blip but that's what I believe based on what I'm seeing right now.

Also I'm a Chelsea supporter and I've certain expectations from the team. If I was a Norwich fan I wouldn't be angry because we're not challenging for the league title so please stop the bullsh*t about me not lasting as a supporter with other teams.

Look at it this way.  We lost 3 games last year and won the title.  Just getting the losing out of the way early this year.

Yeah totally the same situation.

Yeah Scolari did such a wonderful job with that same squad didn't he?

Totally different story. Scolari bought in his own players and played a very different style, one that didn't really suit the players we had. Avram Grant basically had us playing the same way Mourinho would have played us but wasn't as good at getting the same kind of results. I think if Mourinho hadn't been sacked that year we would have won something.

That's a damning statement. You have expectations?! Supporting a team is not like buying an ipad. You support the team whether they are doing well, doing badly or having a drop in form.

I don't think you understand.

This is ridiculous. He might be a sh*t manager but that achievement was his own. We might as well say RDM didn't really win the champions league but AVB did because that was his team.

I didn't say it wasn't his achievement, but i think had we kept Mourinho we would have actually won us something.

Perhaps your idea of supporting a team means keeping quiet when you sense there's something wrong and not saying anything but that's not my idea of a supporting a team. I think there's something going on behind the scenes and that something is affecting the players performance and I'll damn well say it whether or not people don't like it.

What's the point of having a football forum if we all agree on the same thing? A bunch of chemical Alis in here. Everything is fine folks, nothing to see here, please go home.

Interestingly, there are forumites who keep quiet when we do well and then raise their contrary little heads to spread doom and gloom when things a little off.

Referring to folk as 'chemical Ali', you sad, sorry person.

Can we merge this with the jokes section thread? Just seems a bit redundant to have two joke threads open.

Edit: failing that, things that annoy you thread.

Who knows but that poster was disparaging Avram and that's what I was arguing about. You've completely gone off topic. Of course Jose would've won something.

Check my post history arsehole, I've made lots of pro Jose/Chelsea comments and I'll keep making them. I post when we win and I post when we lose.

You having a different opinion than most isn't the problem, it's you asking for a manager to be replaced 4 games after we just won the frigging title that is getting on people's nerves. You are asking for our greatest manager ever to be replaced with managers who, for all we know, could fail miserably, just because our form is poor right now. You have no loyalty, that right there is going to piss most people off to be honest. Without Mourinho, this club may not have won half as much it has won in recent years.

I may be an arsehole, but I wouldn't use the comparison you did. You do lean on the side of a drain and not a radiator.

Interesting you recognised yourself without a direct reference.
