You having a different opinion than most isn't the problem, it's you asking for a manager to be replaced 4 games after we just won the frigging title that is getting on people's nerves. You are asking for our greatest manager ever to be replaced with managers who, for all we know, could fail miserably, just because our form is poor right now. You have no loyalty, that right there is going to piss most people off to be honest. Without Mourinho, this club may not have won half as much it has won in recent years.

Liking this wasn't enough.  So I just want to emphasise how spot on this post is.

Some people are unbe-f**king-lievable.

I have no problem with us losing and my loyalty will always be with Chelsea fc until I die, not Jose mourinho. I want him replaced not because we've lost but because like I said the players are clearly not playing for him. This is not some temporary loss of form that will be righted but there's clearly a rift behind the scenes. Either the club sits down and sorts it out so they can start playing properly again or they get Klopp.

Let's just get behind the team and manager and ride out this poor period.

There is always ups and downs, it's patches like this that make trophies feel great.

I'm hoping we can pick up some form in Europe and in the league cup, and it will help us kick on in the league.

As long as Mourinho keeps playing the same out of form players, those hopes of yours have little chance of becoming reality. It has nothing to do with not getting behind our team: we all want Chelsea to do well. Knowing the players individually and collectively are capable of much more than they're showing now is frustrating. We're looking for an explanation and preferably for a solution. That's what this and other threads are discussing.

Exhortations to get behind the team and the manager and stuff like that are well meant and wonderful in the stands when whipping up support. In the discussions we're having all over the forum it's not very helpful. Of course we're behind the team, it's because of the team we agonise so much!

Klopp? the guy who had a couple of good seasons with Dortmund (who arent exactly struggling without him). and some people would rather him than multiple league/champions league winning manager who is widely regarded as one of the best 3 managers in the world at the very least. utterly ridiculous. the sort of stuff id expect to see in the tabloids!

I'm not saying we shouldn't be questioning things that are going wrong etc. It's only normal to have a rant. I just think talk of sacking a manager 5 games into a season after winning the league is ridiculous.

People are moaning about how we need stability, well we instead of calling for the managers head, why not give him time to try and turn things around by working with players on the training ground. Christ knows he deserves it.

Why anyone would think klopp could come and turn us into champions elect over night I don't know.

Oh I agree. Now all we have to do is convince Mourinho he has more than 11 players to work with on that training ground and during matches.

I don't think he has that many options, other than playing rahman or replacing costa. A couple of good results and the confidence and swagger will be back.

I think the main problem with the team at the moment is mental more than tactical.

This is why opposition fans ridicule us. Already calling for a man's sack because of a few bad fesults.

That sounds pretty harsh

You keep saying this. Who do you think are the ring leaders behind this mutiny? The captain whos just come out and said he'd throw himself under a bus for Mourinho? The players who chose Chelsea because they wanted to work under Mourinho? The young players? The bench players? Has Bran decided to lead a coup because he plays every week no matter how sh!t he is the week before?

He certainly hasn't lost Ivanovic.

Before Fergie won his first title with Utd, there was a famous banner, calling for his head.

He had already been at the club a few years by then.

The Utd board kept faith with him.

Several years later, after many title successes, the Utd fans were baying for blood again.

It's easily forgotten now but they wanted him gone, they thought he had lost his midas touch, it was sometime after Abramovich came, around 2005, 2006.

The Utd board kept faith with him.

World class managers don't grow on trees.

Some of you need to pay more attention.

To compare Fergie's situation in 1990 to Mourinho's today is laughable. Football now and then just don't compare especially where media spotlight is concerned. It's always the hackneyed example that's brought up when a managers under pressure. If Fergie had been sacked in 1990 there would have been countless clubs who would have hired him what he did in Scotland was remarkable to break the Celtic- Rangers stranglehold. In 1990 if Fergie was available who would i want in charge him or Bobby Campbell ooh that's a toughie.

I always hated Bobby Campbell. To me he was a Fulham man and should never have been allowed anywhere near Stamford Bridge.

Me and my mates briefly met him in 89 after the game at Maine Road 3-2. Horrible scouse twat to say he had disdain for us is an understatement.

you may be right about there being issues behind the scenes. However afford the man a bit of respect. This is the problem with football these days everyone expects results immediately and if not the manager gets the sack. I for one think it would be good if we could build something with one manager.
