A post in one of the match day threads got me thinking, what is the worst team of all time that could possibly be fielded?

 

Going by this thread I wouldn't be surprised if we lined up something like this next season:

Seriously though.. Nicklas F***ing Bendtner? Things aren't that bad.

 

A start by drjonesy1994 which is pretty good. His front line is decent though.

Well Joe Cole was clearly only in his team as the Joe Cole that plays now. 2006 Joe Cole was one of the best in the world at the time.

How do you put Kalou on there? He wasn't amazing but he was certainly better than players like Akinbiyi and Claudio Pizarro

Jeans and Sidwell were not bad players either and as crap as he is Anton Ferdinand is nowhere near the worst CB I've ever seen. Scezny again is nowhere near the worst keeper you forgetting guys like Ross Turnbull and Taibi?

The worst chelsea team assembled would be more interesting.

Well my Cub football team lost by double figures pretty much every week, sometimes conceding as many as 20 in a game, so we've got to rank right up there.

Barnstoneworth United. Once of the Yorkshire Premier League. Club's biggest fan was Gordon Ottershaw. Lost loads of games but won their last ever game 8-1. Fans of Ripping Yarns will recognise the team.

My goals 7 a side league team lost 3 nil yesterday. So we're pretty bad. But honestly this thread would probably have more comments if it was the worst Chelsea team assembled. I can tell you how it would go though as someone would no doubt suggest our current starting xi as our worst ever and we'd go into meltdown.

Yeah, it'd be closer to a team from the fifth division of football in San Marino than a Premier League team.
