Hello - I am hoping someone going to tonight's game can help me out. I live in the USA and my dear friend Steve Rowse (lifelong Chelsea fan) passed away recently. Chelsea are putting a photo and tribute message in tonight's programme in the fans pages.

 

Is there any way one of you going to tonights game can take a photo of the tribute with the game going on in the background?

 

I know it is a lot to ask, but so many people would apprecitate it here in the USA and elsewhere. I have attached a photo of Steve so you can find it quickly.

Wow that is so sad. Could you perhaps ask one of the Chelsea staff? Not sure any would be answering the phones during the game though. I'll repost this in the match day chat.

I downloaded a digital copy, and 50 copies are being sent over for his family and friends here in the USA to have one each. Thanks again for your help. This will mean a lot to many people. 

I just hope I don't screw up somehow. I have added a reminder to print the photo when I'm alone in the office next week. And will try to get it to the match uncreased.

Just a thought, I usually just look at the forum on my I phone but looking how good the picture is on my iPad maybe beerqueen get someone to hold up an I pad and film that then no picture creases!! Also wouldn't be great if anyone attending the next home game who has looked at this thread also got involved and the family could see different angles of the ground with steves picture in the video or picture.

It will be great even if it's a little creased. no one will mind. Just you following through with it is plenty to be thankful for.

Yes, I bet it looks fine on an mobile phone also, so people could just hold up their phone while someone else takes a photo. For multiple people to do it all around the ground would be amazing.

Richard - I watched the video. That was absolutely brilliant mate. I cannot thank you enough. This is going to make many people happy here in the states, in England and many other places. Our Steve was a legend and he would be buying you a pint himself for doing this, Thanks again.

I'm not sure that they were - but I tried!  It's ridiculously difficult to hold up a picture and take a photo while trying to make sure that there is some action taking place on the pitch!
