I'm tryig to figure out what the lineup and formation was back in the PL's first season.....I've got the stats so I know who the most used players were but I can't figure out what positions did they play at......What I've got so far is;

Hitchcock in goal

Sinclair at left back?

Hall at right back(mostly)

Donaghy at centre back(apparently played out of position?)

Who was the other centre back?

Townsend and Wise in the central midfield

Newton at right wing?

Graham Stuart at left wing?

Fleck and Harford in the attack

 

 

 

 

Beasant was our keeper wasnt he? He certainly started the season as our no 1.

Other centre back was Paul Elliott though he only lasted until the Autumn

Harford played up front to begin with I think with the plastic paddy, Lee was in defence when Elliot was took out by the little welsh twat.

It was primarily:

 

GK: Beasant/Hitchcock

 

RB: Clarke/Hall

 

CB: Sinclair (player of the year), Elliot/Lee/Johnson, 

 

LB: Donaghy

 

CM: Townsend, Newton/Spackman

 

RW: Wise

 

LW: Stuart

 

CF: Harford/Cascarino, Fleck
