February 14, 20179 yr Only £1,450 to ensure that you can secure 90 mins playing time Yikes. @FootballAidMan Curious to know what % of money raised is given to the charities ?
February 15, 20179 yr What about left wing, left back or up top? Loved playing in those areas. I was too lazy for centre mid and not composed enough
February 15, 20179 yr Author Hi Zola, Thanks for your interest, as you point out the 90min Buy Now prices are set at a premium due to the exceptional demand for our Chelsea game, however positions are also available for Bidding and some of the 45min positions are sitting at just £195 as it stands, so there’s every chance those interested will be able to sign up for quite a bit less than the highest quoted prices. With regards to our charitable donations, thanks to the fantastic support of our fans our parent charity Field of Dreams has been able to donate over £212,000 to charitable causes in the last 2 years alone and over £2.3M has been donated to charities since we were founded in 2001. In that time we've organised 645 games and allowed over 17,000 fans to Live the Dream. We do have a number of costs we have to cover for our events, including purchasing the official strips, matchday balls, travel, accommodation, year round staffing and operational costs, and that means like every other charity we're unable to donate all the income we generate to charity, however we have a very small team of staff and are fortunate to have the support of students and helpers during the events period which keeps our costs down. The exact percentage we're able to donate to charity varies each year depending on the amount of clubs that host events, but since 2001 we've been able to donate a sizable percentage of our income to charity, while providing our supporters with a great experience at the same time. If anybody would like to know more about our charity activity then you can see details here - http://www.footballaid.com/field-dreams and our parent charity Field of Dreams is registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator here - http://www.oscr.org.uk/search-oscr/charity-details?number=SC030419#results We like to think that everybody benefits from our events, the players get a once in a lifetime experience, their friends and family get to come along and cheer them on and we're able to raise money for charity at the same time. Kind Regards The Football Aid Team
