Thanks for posting Carshalton Blue. I'll try and go along. I see that are a few that played for both sides. i wonder if they'll swap sides at half-time. Ray is still revered at Ibrox. The goal against Celtic in the 5-1 victory in August 1988 was a cracker.

Thanks mate. I'll let you know if I'm going to the game. I'll tell the people I go to the Bridge with. If it's okay with you I'll post details on a Rangers fans forum. I'll also print off the poster and put it up in the White Bear pub near Smithfield Market. It's where London based Rangers fans go to watch the 'Gers game. Will also let my family who live not far from Glasgow.

Ordered seven tickets for the game on Friday. The lady I spoke to in the ticket office said that loads of tickets have been sold. Excellent. Looking forward to the game.

Looking forward to this next week, 600 Rangers have hired a local Rugby club for a sash bash before & after the game, heard they have coaches to the ground but are also doing a march, that'll take them about an hour haha.

Me too. Will keep an eye out for any Rangers fans I know. Should be a great atmosphere in and outside the ground. Am bringing along some of the guys I go to the Chelsea games with. I just need to decide which shirt to wear. One with this badge on:

No automatic alt text available.

Or a shirt with this on:

Larkhall is where the Scots side of my family come from. Larkhall is probably the most ardent Rangers town in the whole of Scotland. The stories I could tell about Larkhall.

Great to see that the game has been mentioned in a couple of national papers. In addition to monies being donated to victims of the Croydon tram accident some will also go to victims of the terrorist attacks in London and Manchester.

Probably a silly question, but will it be on Chelsea TV? Also some big names in that Chelsea team should be a great match, also for a good cause.

Not on Chelsea TV. Not on Rangers TV either. Will try and take some pictures and videos of the game and in the pub before hand. Will then post on here.

@Carshalton Blue Agree, it was a great day. Lots of great banter between the Chelsea and Rangers fans. Were you in the Moon on the Hill in Sutton before the game? The flag in your picture looks like one that was shown outside the pub. Me and mates were in there from about 1.15.

I thought that the Rangers players were fitter and faster than the Chelsea players. Took a while for us to recognise some of the players - due to them putting on weight and losing or having grey hair. I reckon Gareth Hall had a good game. As did Frank Sinclair. Paul Canoville came and sat in the stand for a while. Great assist from the ref for one of our goals.

Great to see the Rangers players wearing the number 2 on the backs of their shirts. Nice tribute to Fernando Ricksen who is suffering with motor neurone disease.

I took a few pictures. Hope to post them later.

@Boyne Yes mate i was in the moon & it was my flag outside the pub, got a great team photo of me & my lot with my flag. You seen the video of the Rangers fans band marching outside the ground? Its on twitter.  Its still quite surreal for me seeing 100s of Chelsea & Rangers in my local pubs & streets.

@Carshalton BlueThanks. A great flag. I missed the Rangers Fans bad outside the ground but saw them at half-time. Will look for the video. One of my mates recorded them playing at half-time.

Great  to see Rangers and Chelsea fans mixing. Were you still in the Moon on the Hill when the Spurs fan walked in? He got loads of stick.

Yeah mate i was there, fair play to him i can imagine some other lads walking straight back out, my mate said imagine a CFC lad walking in to a pub full of Spurs firm, he'd have been battered.

Put Chelsea & Rangers fans in the search bar on twitter a few photo's on there.

You're right mate, fair play to the guy. We went back to the pub after the game and he was still there. As you say, if a Chelsea fan had gone into a Spurs pub he would have been battered. Just had a look on twitter. Some cracking photos.

Would love it if there was a friendly between the two sides at the Bridge. Was at the friendlies at Ibrox in 2007 and 2011 and the atmosphere (especially the one in 2007) was brilliant.

We went back to the Robin Hood after, got a beer at half time & it took me 20mins to get served.

Quite a few Millwall in the Moon as well, drinking with Chelsea, saw a lad with an Orient tattoo as well.

We probably stood near each other at some point haha
