Alright... We all know it's highly, highly unlikely that Diego Costa is going to hang about at Chelsea. Just out of curiosity though, what are all your views on him, despite the reality. If some sort of solution could be worked out, do we want him to stay, or go?

At the start of the transfer window I was very much in favour of trying to keep him at all costs.  Genuine world class strikers are very hard to come by,Diego is undoubtedly one. His attitude though has placed the club and manager in a situation that now requires a united front of strength, one that sends a message to any other player who fancies following suit. It would be nice in an ideal world for all to make up and him play for a few months, could he be trusted though to put in a full shift now? Even though he isn't in the CL squad could our tactics for the two Athletico games be talked about in his midst. Once the trust has gone, get rid.

If he does play for us again what sort of reception would he get? I'm not one for booing our own players as I think it's counterproductive but I'm sure a majority  who've sang his name and supported him through his time at the club would be happy to.

Being the way he is mentally, Id assume he wouldn't take that well and end up doing something stupid (potentially Cantona at Palace level).

If he comes out publicly apologising to the fans, and the manager and the club, I honestly don't think there will too many boos if at all.

The thing about Costa is fans know he's a bit of a loony anyway. The fact that Morata is here also helps, I think.

I reckon its gone way past the apology stage, and is far too late for that,,, great player but was always a liability is how I see it

Force him to play one game in the group stage.
Then sell him to Atletico
Can't play in the Champions' League

He's not in the squad for the champions league.

Hehehe... I like the thinking.

I'd like him to just be on the sideline warming up all game just to let people know we always have a wild card on hand. Other than that, get rid once Atleti come in with 50m or 30m + any good player
