Leon Goretzka

Featured Replies

This guy is supposed to be quality. His contract ends this summer and he's very young. Anyone seen him play a lot? All I know is he's 6"2 and has an eye for goal.

Not seen a single rumour, even the least credible kind, of Chelsea being interested in him or vice versa.

Sorry should have said. This was a "I think we should try sign him" thread.

all these names that get thrown out there, i have no clue about. leon baiely, goretzka, fekir, etc, etc. these aren't just fifa's or football managers' highly rated players are they? a lot of people throw names out there and then the majority end up disappearing into obscurity or not living up to the hype.

He plays for Schalke which is normally a good sign. He's scored 6 in 12 for the German senior team & He plays with Max Meyer who is another young German talent who's contract runs out at the end of this season as well funnily enough. Definitely another player we should keep tabs on.

Lol.. they are all very good talents

Never heard of the guy. But then if you don't watch bundesliga you wouldn't know him.

Gotta agree with Enigma, lot of FIFA overall potential rates guys been named. Apparently he's picked on FIFA all the time.

Tielemans, Pulisic, Grimaldo, Kovalenko, Werner and Dolberg, Tah and Lafont are high rated guys too.

Oh. Hehe...I wasn't actually intending it in that way.

I meant I hadn't seen anything at all so I wasn't expecting him to be heading this way. His name's been popping up a lot with other clubs, Barca,  Bayern, Liverpool... Not in relation to Chelsea at all.

A lot of these are just that though, aren't they... "I think so and so should try to sign so and so..." Except it's the 'journos' doing it. :p

Fekir has been around for a while now. After a very good 14-15 season, I think it was, he had a serious injury (knee or leg break) that meant he wasn't around for quite a while. He's doing very well this season again after a very good last one.

I haven't played FIFA other than the odd game here or there so I wouldn't know about any of that. I remember being impressed when I saw him initially and was looking forward to seeing him for France on the international stage.

His injury got in the way of that though.
