I don't know if I missed this being posted previously, but I had an email from the club that says

The Stage is set - Chelsea FC Women’s opening match of the 2019/20 season is a mouth-watering encounter against newly promoted Tottenham Hotspur and today the news becomes a whole lot bigger.

The venue for this London derby is Stamford Bridge and on top of that, all tickets are FREE!

You can book up to four tickets, all for free, and as we anticipate a full house, please only claim seats if you think you are sure to attend, so as not to deny any fellow Blues the chance to be there. 

Join us at Stamford Bridge this September as Emma Hayes’ side begin the quest to regain the title they won as recently as 2018."

 

I think it's for members and season ticket holders , but it's  not clear.    Not like the club to be giving anything away for free, but it might be a crack.

Just to be absolutely clear; tickets are free for all fans, with a maximum of four per request. If you want to go as a party of more than four best bet is to book by phone to ensure you are all seated together.

Its a great idea, looks like its being done all over the league to build on the World cup interest.

I'll be going, going to take my children along to take in their first football match. 

I’m using it to complete the set of sitting in every part of the stadium that’s available to us commoners. Shed upper to tick off.

Shed Upper on one of the wrap arounds was always one of my favourite places to sit, great view of the pitch. 

Mind you, I've never sat in the Matthew Harding upper.

MHU is terrible. I’m prefer to slum it in the Shed lower, unless I can only get rows 14-16. The dreaded ‘have to sit down and can’t see sh*t’ rows.
