Flick's Bayern have been the best team in Europe since. They have an excellent squad and most their key players have played together for ages. Flick is only tested next season I think. New kind of pressure. If he wins the treble this season it will be a different kind of task to replicate the success in the next. Anyway they are still one of the major clubs in the world as they have been for 20-30 years. I have to giggle when I see the name Flick, I'm sure there was a Herr Flick on the TV war comedy 'Allo Allo'. Looking forward to the match tomorrow, both teams have good players so should be an intriguing match.
August 24, 20205 yr I caught the first 15mins and 20 mins of the second. For the first 13 it was all Bayern and then PSG got a couple of good chances against the run of play yet poor finishing or decision making let them down. Bayern's 4-2-3-1 was dominating the 4-3-3 of PSG Bayern were putting in some clever challenges that I thought were technical fouls though were cleverly disguised. For me there was a period when they threatened to open up PSG with angled crosses from the edge of box and Coman scored one with a good header. With luck and some good defending PSG stayed in the match. They had chances yet could not get their act together with all three front players being guilty at one time or another. Bayern also had a good shout for a penalty. Tactically an interesting match though for the neutral somewhat disappointing.

It was actually a pretty entertaining game despite their only being 1 goal in it. PSG had some great chances and Neymar and Mbappe had pretty much bottled it. if PSG had taken their chances they could have possibly won it.

Agree by neutral guess I meant the average footy follower rather than those on the forums. What did you think of Bayern's penalty shout on the left wing?
