The first two goals were individual errors that they capitalized on.  The other 2 show just how weak we can be through the middle.  Christensen marking no-one, and Zouma tracking what shouldn't be his player, just bad overall.  Not sure we can magically fix it all in one window to be honest.

yupp.. some of it is game intelligence.. AC looks completely unawre of how to play in a back 4... this could have been 5-6 and still wouldnt have flattered Bayern...

Well I'm glad this season is over...under the circumstances it wasn't a bad season but there were so many games we threw away because of our defence which Frank and his team never got a grip of and sorted it out, especially early on which resulted in shipping 60+ goals.  Still we back in this competition next season, lets hope we perform better than this and Frank has the back 3/4 out beforehand.

I make it 79 across all competitions ... in 55 games ...

Well, I really hoped it won't get to that score, but we failed.

Disappointing end to this season, nothing to add more.

Nah the FA Cup final was disappointing this is just normality, it was always going to be a routine win for them.

Never been so glad to hear the final whistle. Absolutely schooled over the two legs.

Just goes to show how far behind we are to top level UCL contenders... Embarrassing from us, but can't be too harsh as this was always a transitional season.

But now that Frank has his signings and has had a year to settle in, performances like this this time next season and he'd have to walk.

This team/squad is absolutely atrocious. I keep saying it but we’re at least 7 very expensive signings  from a half decent side. And I know it’s sacrilegious to say, but does Frank have even the foggiest idea about organising a defence? As bad as they are, they’ve all somehow made it to Premier/International level football and yet Frank seems incapable of being able to explain where they should stand. Under 9’s can often have that explained to them with some degree of success.

I forget sometimes why Emerson never plays, when he goes on those good runs forward. Then I watch him just stand there and do nothing as a player runs in front of him to score and I remember.

When it's all said and done, we have had a great season considering the circumstances but the comical defending errors that played a HUGE part in our season and at times questionable tactics should not go unnoticed and unaddressed.

Still, kudos to Frank - our future with him is looking bright no doubt about it. Up the Chels!

Well, this is our reality. It is just where we are at the moment comparing to the elite European clubs. But at this point, it doesn't matter, not at all.

This season was a success and a big learning experience especially for our young and talented lads, and also Lampard as a manager. No need to repeat anything that we said before.

I believe that we'll be back where we belong in no time. This team has the potential and Lamps is the man for this job. We all know it.

Exciting future ahead. Come on Chels!!!

On the other hand, you can easily argue that internationals who have been defenders since the age of 8 (or whatever) really ought to know where to stand without being told by Frank ...

Why were some of these players smiling and laughing at the end. They should be ashamed, if not of themselves, then for the fans. They're at a top club on good wages. They should fight til the end. Onwards and upwards see you all back here  next season. Up the Blues

Disappointed.. clearly we need some quality to be reintroduced .. we keeping making mistakes.. Emerson on a different wavelength.. Kovacic not protecting the ball.. AC cant play in a back 2... having said that it is what it is.. We need a CB who can lead and command at our heart.. the current lot arent that...  i wouldnt be too harsh on this group i think you cant expect a mini van to outpace a ferrari.. a lot in this squad arent good enough to compete with the european elite..  the youngsters are some way off.. remains to be seen as to how many will be first team regulars and others squad players.. the senior pros are not good enough.

Really poor from everyone, maybe Zouma had a decent game.

Losing possession far too easily, either by being pressed or sloppy passes.

Stopped tracking runners in the 2nd half, lucky it wasnt a heavier defeat.

We are miles off bayern and the likes at the moment. We need to be better all over the field.

Hopefully we have a decent summer, and we can build a team that can at least compete at this level.

It’s no mean feat on this site, but your post puts you in prime position for minister of propaganda.
