June 21, 20224 yr I am pretty sure that nobody else has opened a post on this, but I am wondering what our Members think of a sneaky bid for Christian Eriksen. At the Brentford home game and disastrous defeat, he single handedly dismantled our defence, scoring one and making two. He also ensured Brentford stayed in the Prem, when it looked a bit unlikely before he joined in January. He reminds me a bit of Cesc and has the ability to pick defences like a locksmith, finding that killer pass (God knows how we need that !!), getting the forwards involved and even scoring. Brentford would love to keep him, United are interested, Spurs have not responded and I think he is available on a free, and apparently would prefer to stay in London. So guys and gals what do you think? PS I think he is good enough to ignore the ex-Spurs tag too.
June 21, 20224 yr I would definitely take him for a year or two. He has goals in him and like you say he has the killer pass too. We could do a lot worse than taking a punt on him.

June 21, 20224 yr If we are going to hijack a United transfer I would rather we get De Jong (different type of player obviously) because while he's a good player not sure where Eriksen would fit into our system, unless it's to rotate with Mount. I like the comparison to Cesc but remember a prime Cesc couldn't even get into the starting 11 when we played 3 at the back under Conte despite phenomenal passing stats.
June 21, 20224 yr We desperately need a player who can do Fabregas balls. I’d definitely take him but looks like Man Utd have made the move.
June 21, 20224 yr I've been surprised he's not been mentioned. We could defintely use someone like him. Probably go back to Spurs though.
