Bought for 17m developed then sold for 12m with a 25% sell on clause. So currently a 5m loss but if at some point he is sold for 20m having further developed  we would break even (ish). 

Sky report him as being bought for £12.5m + £4.5m in add ons, which he obviously never achieved.

So not only is he an FFP profit this year (£12m sale - ~£7m book value = £5m profit), we will get a bonus next time he gets sold too.
