The Centenary Stands blue stantion, the one nearest the Copland Road Stand. This was where my old man and his mates stood to watch Rangers when it was terracing.

Agreed. After one defeat early in the first season of Dick Advocaat. Ian Ferguson tore apart certain new players. Who then understood, in no uncertain terms, what was expected of each and every Rangers player.

I’m told Advocaat walked into a very quiet dressing room, looked about puzzled and ‘Fergie’ said.

“Team talk over gaffer. They won’t give you a performance like that ever again!’ 😀

They didn’t and went on to win both League Championship and Scottish Cup.
