shouldn't be a shock as they use the method of every goal of the month winner being in the final, but it amazes me that in a season where Chelsea could provide a goal of the season competition on their own, that not one of our goals makes it...Drogba v Liverpool or Everton anyone? Essien against Arsenal?

Lots of United goals of course, reflects the bias of the bbc this season if you ask me...here's the full list

agger vs west ham

barry vs tottenham

anelka vs Arsenal

van persie vs charlton

scholes vs villa

rooney vs portsmouth

landzaat vs arsenal

rooney vs bolton

mcfadden vs charlton

gardner villa vs bolton

i noticed that, what a load of bullsh*t. Essien's DEFINATELY is better than at least half of those goals. Most of them were the same goal anyway.

Outa that list i'd go for McFaddens against Charlton, unusual bit o' skill and brilliantly executed.

However my 'goal of the season' was Drogba away at Everton with Essiens equaliser v the gooners a very close second.

I noticed that too, I was waiting for one by Drogba.

I can't believe that now one of his goals is not considered worthy enough to make the grade.

Bizarre.

i think the goal of the season is made of all of the goal of the month winners. ridiculous idea if you ask me. and therefore perfect for the bbc.

Yep, thought the same thing, the goals mentioned were not goal of the months on MOTD,

So no Essien vs Arsenal, Drogba veresus Everton or Liverpool, Sheva vs Spuds.

Its a joke it really is.

Yep it is. You could have a goal of the season comp with just Chelsea goals tbh.
