Not only did bates play a massive part (and when i say massive i attribute pretty much of everything we are today to him) in us becoming the great footballing super power we now are but he has also become the driving force in the constant demise of leeds, complete self sacrifice!! He surly has to go down as the greatest chelsea legend!!

Well said Barak. For a man of his age to go undercover 'op north' (sic) to bring down our most hated enemy is indeed the stuff of legends!

Leeds were already buggered when uncle Ken stepped in, he's just advancing the process. As for his motives, I would say it's more to do with buying a club on the cheap (sound famliar?)and later making millions than doing Chelsea supporters any favors buy destroying dirty L**ds. Still.......................... yay.gifyay.gif

I dont get any kicks seeing Le*ds going further down the pan.

There an English club with massive support.

I hate them and their scum bag support, but as I have said before....

... with them down there we have lost two massive games a season.......

and that fixture void has been replaced with a Club like Wigan,no dis-respect to Wiganers.

You cant replicate the atmosphere at a Chelsea - Le*ds game.

Believe in fair game................Club finances have nothing to do supporters!

That could well had been us............Think about that icon_sad.gif

I miss those horrible northerners!!

Sorry, but they can't fall down far enough of fast enough for me.

Now if only Liverfool would join them we'd all be throwing a party!

Must admit I see where Glory is coming from. I did rejoic when they were relegated from the Premiership but in a way I also miss having the annual two fixtures against them. As much as I enjoy every Chelsea win irrespective of the opposition I can't deny yhat the joy of playing and beating Leeds was always longer lasting than beating say Wigan or Sheff Utd, Sunderland, Reading etc.

Yes we want these sweet northern lads back at the Bridge soon!

Absolutely!

I may be wrong, but I think the second video was of Leeds fans at Ipswich - not exactly a hot-bed of footie passion.

Believe me, if Leeds fans did that at the Bridge, even in this day and age, there'd be a much larger mob of Chelsea running on the pitch to batter the f*ck out of 'em help the police and stewards deal with the problem icon_wink.gif

Even though I hate Leeds with a passion on a par with only Spuds & Septic, I'd still like them to recover and make it back to the Premiership. Chelsea/Leeds games have been very special for over 40 years, and I really miss the anticipation/excitement/hostility of those games.
