BLUENUT Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Probably dropping off a little parcel for Mutu and Bosnich I know he's an Argie, and the 'hand of god' and all that bollox, but what a player,a true footballing legend! Still quicker than Shevchenko
Maksimov Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 In an unexpected visit, Maradona stayed for some time, taking in training, chatting with players and signing autographs for everyone around. Are they saying the club didn't know he was gonna come? Then again, if Diego came to visit, I'd let him in. I wonder what's the reason for his visit? Maybe he wanted to make sure Di Santo's being treated well at Chelsea... BTW...I wonder what happened to Emir Kusturica's documentary about Maradona. Kusturica has said that the film ends when Diego is in good health, and has no more addiction to drugs. The release date has been pushed back a few times, and perhaps that was because Diego suffered a setback in his rehabilitation a while ago. He's lost weight and looks a lot healthier than he's done in years, so maybe he's off the drugs now. Well done to Diego if he's done that and I'm looking forward to seeing the film. PS. Am I the only one who thinks Diego looks a bit like Brian Johnson(AC/DC) with that cap on?

Iceman Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Could this be the reason why he dropped by today....? http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=564816
Mod Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 How to know when you're short! ..You have a little height on Maka bending over! Legend he may be, but 'the hand of god' I won't forget.
Guest Brian M Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 How dare Malouda put his arm around him! He's not fit to be in the same photo with Steve Sidwell, let alone getting all chummy with Maradona!
ivorycoast Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 How dare Malouda put his arm around him! He's not fit to be in the same photo with Steve Sidwell, let alone getting all chummy with Maradona! I think its Bridgeys arm. But what a legend, my opinion of him has improved so much after this.
c3blu Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 When i first saw the picture this morning i thought 'fu*k me John Spencer has put on some weight'.

Bit harsht they ey Bri? How would you feel if your favourite hollywood writer (apart from urself) was in a photo and you werent allowed in it because someone your too not good enough a writer to be in there?
Guest Brian M Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I think its Bridgeys arm. Ah, well, that's all right then. Bridge rocks! Whereas Malouda is as useful as a carton of viagra at the Eurovision Eunuch awards.
Jimboola69 Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 Certainly a better training ground visit than when Mickey Thomas popped by and offered to change money for the apprentices. Is it me or does that photo show the 'ghost' of Wayne Bridge?

callista Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Is there anyone Grant hasn't become a "friend" to his career? He's the most heard of unheard of manager I've ever known!
