March 3, 200817 yr Hey! Our orange and grey was a trend setter. I got given our friends' one and I still wear it to bed
March 3, 200817 yr I love minging kits and intend to buy every Chels on I can find. Graphite and tangerine is already mine, and this seasons luminous one will be purchased at some point as well. Others I would love to buy but cannot find include the 1990-92 away kit (white and red diamonds) and the 74-75 one with the green and red stripe. REd just looks so wrong on a Chels shirt! 93-94 bumblebee one is also up there!
March 3, 200817 yr ha i bought our extemely in your face electric shirt for this season. Just awesome to wear, really makes people look at you
March 4, 200817 yr It's not something I would wear myself, but I think the current fluorescent kit is not that bad. Considering it will help the players to see eachother more easily on the pitch. The article picked the sleeveless Cameroon shirt for the top ten list? I think it looked great. If you wanted to pick a horrible Cameroon kit, that one piece kit they had in the ACN a few years ago would've been a more deserving choice. There was just so many things wrong with that kit, that I don't know where to begin. But that sleeveless shirt was one of the best looking shirts at the 2002 World Cup. And that list is missing a few "classics" from spain like this stroke of genius from Athletic Bilbao and this Atletico Madrid shirt deserves at least an "honorable" mention.
March 4, 200817 yr If memory serves me correct, didn't David Semen wore an acid house/dye tie goalkeeper's kit for England? Absolutely orrible.
March 4, 200817 yr Hey! Our orange and grey was a trend setter. I got given our friends' one and I still wear it to bed When you're eating Terry's Chocolate Orange Minty
March 5, 200817 yr Hey! Our orange and grey was a trend setter. I got given our friends' one and I still wear it to bed Too right .. I've still got the shirt, and I still wear it. Not to bed though As football strips go, it was a bit of a disaster, but it was the shorts that made it look so bleedin awful. The shirt itself, on the other hand, worn with a pair of jeans or whatever looks fine.
March 5, 200817 yr Here are some more ugly kits: http://www.ave-it.net/badfootballkits.htm That site also has the Cameroon sleeveless shirt...can someone explain what is so terrible about it? In my opionion it was one of the better looking shirts at the 2002 World Cup. I'd also like to know why this golden disaster is never included on any of these type of lists? Who ever thought a golden shirt would look classy?
March 5, 200817 yr Once on my travels to Paris I saw this wonderful little retro shop. Y'know, that does all the vintage nikey gear and retro soccer jerseys? Well after about an hour of perusing blissfully a shop assistant came up to me and asked if I was going to buy something or was I just curious. I told her I was Buy-Curious.
March 5, 200817 yr That site also has the Cameroon sleeveless shirt...can someone explain what is so terrible about it? In my opionion it was one of the better looking shirts at the 2002 World Cup. Just like men hate women with hairy armpits, it's never the highlight of MY day to look at men's hairy, sweaty armpits...
March 5, 200817 yr Just like men hate women with hairy armpits, it's never the highlight of MY day to look at men's hairy, sweaty armpits... How many times exactly were you shocked by the sight of hairy sweaty armpits during that World Cup? If that happened often, I'd say you were paying attention to the wrong things.
March 5, 200817 yr Not shocked, disgusted! It's a matter of principle (that's why I'm also totally opposed to Rafael Nadal). Camaroon's shirt in the top 10 of worst football kits is fully deserved.
March 5, 200817 yr Not shocked, disgusted! I agree a sweaty and hairy armpits are not a pretty sight, but you must've been really ogling them armipits, 'cause in 2002 World Cup they had t-shirts under their sleeveless shirts.
March 5, 200817 yr It must be my Korsakov sydrome, but I really can't remember that... But it's the principle that counts: no to sleeveless shirts on hairy armpits!
