Nervous...

Really starting to get the jitters now. This is a big big game make no mistake, and the knives will be out from all quarters - fans, media, etc- if we fail to qualify against one the the 'easier' teams, and rightly so.

We have, HAVE to start well, like last week, but make it count this time and get the first goal. I worry for us if they score first, as we've looked far from prolific of late.

C'MON CHELS!!!

Yep. Players need to stand up and be counted tonight. We cannot afford for anyone to go missing, so can only pray that Malouda is nowhere near Stamford Bridge. In fact he can go missing if you know what I mean............

Grant needs to (A) select the right starting line up and (:nono: make the right changes at the right time, if needed. @cos if we ain't in the semi finals he ain't gonna be Chelsea Manager for much longer.

strangely, the closer we get the less nervous i am. and ive actually convinced myself that 2-1 down may not be a bad thing. if we were 1-0 or 1-1 we would sit back. 2-1 down means we will attack from the off.

not just the players but the fans too...I am fed up of chelsea's atmosphere being a laughing stock...we need to show some passion ourselves...let's get behind the players (forget the Grant stuff) and roar them to victory happy0034.gif

It didn't happen mate. I normally sit in the Shed but was in the MHU tonight and the atmosphere was very subdued.

With the match in the balance 2nd half, it did get noisier. But it was nervous tension being released more than fervent support.

To be honest I've come to expect it now. We all see the suits and posh bints sitting in the seats around the ground. And the bigger the match the more suits and posh bints we see. Of course they aren't there in such abundance for the matches against the Wigans, the Sunderlands and the Derbys. But rest assured, they'll be there in huge numbers for the semi-final.

i was hopeful at the start, it seemed more people were up for it than usual, but I think on this occasion the manner of our performance sucked the life out of the occasion...it was fitting at the end when the dj put on kalinka and most of the ground was empty...no-one was in the mood to celebrate such an unconvicning win against such an average opponent...what a contrast to when we knocked barca out in 05 with that dull mourinho in charge icon_rolleyes.gif

They should hold back before putting f*cking records on straight after the final whistle anyway IMO.

Lets the crowd react with the players, sing their names etc.....

Kalinka FFS icon_rolleyes.gif - well it is Romans club, I suppose, and he knows best doesn't he icon_rolleyes.gif
