loz
Just sitting down to watch it -I don't have high hopes!! At least Downing and Defoe aren't playing this time.
Chippy
Just sitting down to watch it -I don't have high hopes!! At least Downing and Defoe aren't playing this time. Started quite well, a decent ball from Frank that Walcott chested down well but lost control of...promising though

loz
Croatia a little unlucky in that the clearance rebounded of the head of a defender and landed at Walcott's feet but he still took the chance well.
loz
Calamity does everything in his power to hand a goal back with a punch that even Amir Khan could withstand!!
jack h
I see Lubos michel is still the worst ref on the planet. Constantly letting them get away with jumping into our players at corners and free kicks. We deserve to be ahead and we should have had a penalty hopefully we can keep it up in the second half. loz
1-0 HT - I wouldn't go as far as saying England are playing well but they are not playing badly!! Look sound defensively and Walcott is the pick of the attacking players. Appalling shoulder barge by Simunic on him and although I would say a straight red would have been harsh I would have though a decent ref would have been down as being on 1.5 yellows for that foul (i.e. only a small foul would result in a second yellow)

You mean the Heskey incident? I think that would have been a decision as soft as Michael Barrymore's tadger at the Pirelli calendar launch. loz
Oh and Rooney has been crap again - running around, looking lost, and contributed purely by giving away free kicks.
loz
Unbelievable refereeing - Simunic just committed the same foul on Rooney and or some amazing reason is still on the park.

loz
That was a good goal and Walcott is having a fine game. I suspect this could get nasty as I think Croatia may start throwing themselves into tackles wildly.

loz
A quite severe gash to the forehead and they say he may have concussion, lets hope he is ok....Rooney on the scoresheet now 0-3 I think the concussion will be the biggest concern - he went down very strangely and it had all the signs of pretty sever concussion. ' Well that is Rooney back in the good books I guess - 5 goals in 5 years!

Maksimov
Woo-hoo...yay England... <_< Just came back from watching Finland vs. Germany. If someone had told me before the match that we'd score three goals, I would've taken it gladly, but the 3-3 draw still feels like a disappointment. Some positive play from us, though, so it's a decent result, even if we lost the lead three times. Hmph... :D
Chippy
Joe Cole is not going to Hospital so thats a good sign, Franks took his dissalowed goal well, Croatia have knicked one back
loz
How on earth wasn't that high feet on JT in the build up to the goal - I know JT ducked a little but it was only fractional - that was high feet with studs up as well!
