Croatia a little unlucky in that the clearance rebounded of the head of a defender and landed at Walcott's feet but he still took the chance well.

I see Lubos michel is still the worst ref on the planet. Constantly letting them get away with jumping into our players at corners and free kicks. We deserve to be ahead and we should have had a penalty hopefully we can keep it up in the second half.

1-0 HT - I wouldn't go as far as saying England are playing well but they are not playing badly!! Look sound defensively and Walcott is the pick of the attacking players. Appalling shoulder barge by Simunic on him and although I would say a straight red would have been harsh I would have though a decent ref would have been down as being on 1.5 yellows for that foul (i.e. only a small foul would result in a second yellow)

You mean the Heskey incident? I think that would have been a decision as soft as Michael Barrymore's tadger at the Pirelli calendar launch.

I think the concussion will be the biggest concern - he went down very strangely and it had all the signs of pretty sever concussion.

Just came back from watching Finland vs. Germany. If someone had told me before the match that we'd score three goals, I would've taken it gladly, but the 3-3 draw still feels like a disappointment. Some positive play from us, though, so it's a decent result, even if we lost the lead three times. Hmph... :D

How on earth wasn't that high feet on JT in the build up to the goal - I know JT ducked a little but it was only fractional - that was high feet with studs up as well!
