loz
This game is being staged on the anniversary of Matthew Harding's death. If you are in the Matthew Harding spare a second to thank the man that built it for us and if you aren't take a look over and do likewise. http://www.theshedend.com/fansite/matthew-...-1953-1996.html
mad_mac
Nice touch Loz, would be great for a banner or a good few flags to be displayed in teh Matthew Harding stand that night
Scott
A few pints of the black stuff will be raised over here on that day.
geezer
The only downside is the MHL will probably be populated by loads of non-regulars who won't know the significance of the day. Guess it'll be up to the old timers like me to educate them.

mad_mac
Geezer, I thought the MHL was usually full of the loyal supporters, but it has been a few years since I was at the bridge....what's happening?

geezer
Geezer, I thought the MHL was usually full of the loyal supporters, but it has been a few years since I was at the bridge....what's happening? It is for all league games but when it comes to cup games the usual crowd tend to opt for another location in the ground or they don't come at all. The only exception to this seems to be when it's the bigger cup games i.e. Barca, Scouse etc. I can excuse most of the guys around me because of the distance they travel, costs etc. Neil who sits behind me flies over from Guernsey, the bloke in front of me comes dcown from Crewe, anothger couple from Darlington etc. The guy who sits next to me however comes from Harrow so no real excuse for him not to go. At Jose's last ever game last season I was the only person in my row because the opposition were looked upon as being insignificant.
mad_mac
I remember coming through to some Cup games, and the used to actually give the MHL to the away supporters, as well as some of the East lower. I thought we'd given them part of the shed now, we should just throw them all up in the East Upper Anyway, thanks for the update
Gem
Thanks for that Loz, would be brilliant if it was mentioned before kick off. I'll be in the Shed End.
