John Obi Mikel can commit day light robbery, Plokoon n co will still find ways to deflect blame. Regardless of the formation, how can a professional footballer let players run by him without putting in so much as an effort to distract the move? Both on the first goal and the Shelvey chance, Suarez was right besides Mikel and then Mikel just switched off and let him a free run at our defenders.

errr... If I have talked about Mikel being poor at winning the ball, I have always used numbers like tackles/interceptions won to justify that. If I have talked about Mikel not being a very good playmaker, I have always used assists/ chances created numbers to justify that. You, on the other hand use words like "seemed to be at hand to win the ball back". it would be in your best interest if you go back and look again at the meaning of words like hypocrite, cognitive etc.

There is a big difference between actually winning the ball back and "seemed to be on hand to win it back" "seemed" because that is what your heart wants you to believe.

Why is it so hard for him to track runners? On their first goal, Mikel and Suarez were standing side by side. A long ball is played forward by the Liverpool defender that Downing(?) headed down and Suarez pounced on that while Mikel was still standing near the half way mark. You know that is not true, right? Oscar has played 1857 minutes in PL this season and won 62 tackles, a tackle won every 29.9 minutes. Compare that to our DM, John Obi Mikel he has won 47 tackles in 1546 minutes in PL this season, a tackle won every 32.9 minutes.

Lampard and Mikel pivot should be absolute NO NO. As poor as Rami's first touch is, his drive, energy and pace is an absolute must on the field. We have played 11 games with Lampard and Mikel in the pivot, won 2, drawn 3 and lost 6 of them. Edit: I was reading, our last 5 games vs Fulham have all been draws. Desperately need 3 points today.
