  1. What did anyone do of any note? He was consistent. Tripped up a bit and first touch isn't great, but took on a few players on the edge of the box and has made some good passes.
  2. I actually thought Cuadrado wasn't that bad. Clearly lacks match fitness, but so do most of these players.
  3. Petr had a point to prove today and certainly proved it. However, he's certainly fell out of favour with me personally for the way he conducted himself, very cocky and laughing and smiling at everything we did.
  4. Gutted we are unlikely to sigh Pedro. He is exactly what we need.

He is still 23. I don't think it's fair to draw conclusions already on how he will develop as a player. He has moments of brilliance. His problem is that this is not consistent.
  7. Lets not forget it was also the first game since the boys have had a proper break. They went straight from premier league to Asia (pretty much), so they've obviously had a good few weeks off.
  8. Barca weren't great against LA Galaxy the other night either.

I've read this in a few places also. I really hope its not true.

Barcelona fans have had a decade of the best attacking / midfield players in the world. Xavi, Iniesta, Roladihno, Messi... The same fans said Sanchez had declined and were happy to let him go.
  11. On last season's performance... Ivanovic was by far a better RB than Zab. In my opinion. Pretty much everything else you said I would agree with though.
  12. I'm slightly optimistic as I don't think anyone really anticipated Fabregas last season. It came out of no where.
  13. It's on BBC news now. Really glad this has happened, not sure he'll stay in the squad though. A loan out to a BPL team could be what he needs.
  14. I don't see how a retired Arsenal player tweeting that is confirmation of a done deal.
  15. I'm sorry but I'm not buying any of this. Jose has come out and said before if Cech leaves it will not be to an English club. Jose is not stupid enough to sell our biggest rivals exactly what they need to be title contenders. Cech is still under contract, he cannot force a move to Arsenal even if he wants too (which, being the loyal Chelsea man he is, I can't see him doing). It's silly season. Arsenal need a keeper. We have one for sale. The media are stirring sh*t up. I do hope I'm not made to regret these words though.
  16. If he is eligible to play in the UK then he should be sent to Southampton or one of the newly promoted clubs. It is pointless bringing him to the first team where he will not get picked ahead of any of our attacking midfielders. There is no room for him to develop in Chelsea's first team next season.
  17. Cesc is a professional. I don't think he meant todo that at all. I think it was just a bad pass
  18. Am I the only one who thought RLC was decent/solid, and Ake was a bit sh*t?
