We won the league at a canter last season, also won the capital one cup which people seem to be forgetting. We're by far the best team in the league, we don't actually need anyone apart from a backup keeper now so should be grateful for us getting anyone near starting quality, I think some people are underestimating how important it is to keep a team together.

We'll see I guess.If this was a transfer for him to become our first choice I would be worried, but he would be 2nd or 3rd choice and wouldn't have the pressure that he had to deliver consistently at Man Utd. Jose will give him the opportunity to get his fitness up and integrate into the team in a more regular way, rather than van Gaal who used him more as a panic option. I'm excited about this one if it happens

I didn't say he was a shining light, far from it, no one in your team was. Van Gaal managed him very badly, he never got consistent starts and was dropped in and out of the complete squad many times, this guy was touted as one of the world's best just 2 years ago, even half of that would be better than Remy. I just find it funny that some Chelsea fans would want Bamford, Solanke or Brown over someone like Falcao as potential backup to Costa and Remy, will see if they have the same opinion when we get dumped out of a domestic cup at the early stages due to having nothing up front.
