  1. Malouda and Turnbull for me For me the rest played average or below Worst to choose between Lampard and especially Anelka, thought CA would have brought Kalou in his place but unfortunately Joe on for Ballack was not the right move What happened to Nico, I don't know but now he became just a shadow on the pitch...
  2. Maybe this line up ----------------Cech-------------- ---Ivan-----Alex-----Terry------Cole--- --- Mikel--- ---Joe-----Deco---Lampard--- -----Anelka or Kalou----DD-------- Ballack, Malouda and Anelka seem to look for obvious reasons our most tired players recently but I think CA maintained Ballack vs Arsenal because he was better at defending than Joe or Deco to protect the right side Critics are harsh on him as it was even one of his interception in our box that leaded to our fantasctic counter for the second goal Happy to see Mikel in such a good form tough, he was brillant and surely benefited from his little break Not sure if CA will take the risk to rest Anelka Then prepare to hear Deco or Kalou slated unless we won 7-0
  3. I think Deco and Joe Cole will play in places of Ballack and Malouda who need some rest Maybe Anelka also as he seemed a bit tired A win is a neccessity and hope we'll stay focused as Everton are a more physical side than Arsenal and will fight hard at home
  4. Ancelotti surely needs to teach them to avoid punching themselves Maybe we have not enough people in the treatment room currently...
  5. Pleased with the win ! It would be better to score a second and we should have tried a lot more after Drogs goal Like many fans here, I wonder why almost the entire team suddenly struggles after 30 minutes of a very brilliant start We should have certainly scored more against Villa and Juve if we could have maintained the level It's the major problem which worries me and Hiddink needs to fix it quickly All the players have tried hard to hold our lead and were concentrated, I don't want to pick someone in particular but very happy with Drogba commitment :D
  6. ------------------Cech ---Boswinga------ Ivanovic/Carvalho------JT--------A.Cole -------------------Mikel -------Deco---------------Lampard ----Kalou---------------Malouda ------------------Drogba Think we could see Deco starting as Ballack was playing with a knock JT was supposed to train this sunday so should be fit enough, maybe Carvalho as well but we'll have more news in the coming days
  7. Didn't watch the game Could you sum up their performances Thanks :)
  8. Completely agree I'm just happy with the win and the qualification As you said nobody can not take a result for certainty in football and the form of the other teams might suddenly dropped as well ... The positives are that the injury situation is easing, the players coming back from injuries will play better and we will have more options We need an improvement for sure but this team can play much better by february , I hope so !!!
  9. I think Ballack and Mikel will be rested, they were not in training yesterday Essien is a doubt So it could be : ......................Cech ...Bosingwa.....Carvalho...JT......Bridge .............Essien ....Deco....Lampard.....Malouda ............JCole ................Anelka Hilario, ACole, Ivanovic, Alex, Kalou, Di Santo, Belletti
  10. Agree with your comment but we still have to win The Mancs will be nervous for their last game away so we never know... I think we could rest some players like surely Maka, Ash, Ballack as he played a lot lately and picked up a slight injury and Joe Cole especially as he looked quite knackered, Drogs maybe All I fear is to have injuries at the moment, it's vital so fingers crossed !!!
  11. Who is the tank ? Hope a strong performance from the lads with a win at the end, Essien return is a big boost And no injury please !!!
  12. Joe Cole for me, looked lively and always tried Awful performance as expected after an international break Still lucky we get the three points !! Need to step up against Fener Kalou, Essien and Belletti the worst players for me Ballack also didn't play well as he seems very tired at the moment but we obviously didn't control the midfield after his sub Happy with the win tough
  13. Completely agree No doubt that thanks to Ballack and Maka returns in form, we're still in the race I also think although he has not shine against Portsmouth, he has almost scored once and created chances, a pretty one missed awfully by SWP Obviously, he and Maka show actually signs of fatigue due to this long run but reinforcements will come in time ...
  14. -----------------Cech------------------- Belletti-------JT---------Carvalho--------ACole Essien SWP--------Ballack-------Lampard ---------Drogba-----Anelka-------
  15. Yeah, but didn't they also have one of the easiest groups? Yeah, surely Czech Republic, Ireland, Slovakia and Wales are weakest teams than Croatia, Russia, Isreal and Macedonia in our group ... Or maybe just before the starting !
