Based on the fact Drogba appears to be back in the good books and, at least in my opinion, is way off the pace just now I have a feeling we may see Drogba start against Boro.

Mikel should return and I would expect to see Deco start ahead of either Kalou or Malouda. Based on recent performances Malouda should be the one that gets the chop however I suspect it may be Kalou.

Not heard anything about Carvalho's injury yet.

I'm with you Loz, I can see Kalou being dropped for Deco, Ballack will stay because of his double last game. Its almost guaranteed that Drogba is going to start.

I can see Malouda coming on for Kalou mid way through the 2nd half as Malouda isn't fully fit yet, and Kalou is playing really well at the moment. This won't be a comfortable match...

Think we could see Deco starting as Ballack was playing with a knock

JT was supposed to train this sunday so should be fit enough, maybe Carvalho as well but we'll have more news in the coming days

Belletti should be given more playing time in the league so hopefully he starts. In the defence, I think Ivanovic would come in for Carvalho who doesn't look like making it and also to ensure that Ivanovic still feels at home and doesn't move to the Viola. Alex has been a little shaky of late anyways.

However, the big question is : Drogba? Well, if we want to see Anelka and Drogba in the same attack, Scolari said we needed a genuine left winger fit again, Malouda is fit now. Howevr, Joe Cole is out for the season and I don't know whether he considers Kalou a right-winger or would risk giving Stoch a start. What does look like a poosibility is that Anelka playing wide on right and Kalou on the left in an attack led by Drogba.

And then, I'd see Lampard and Ballack playing in front of Belletti.

Would like to see: Ivanovic instead of Bosingwa and Stoch instead of Malouda but I'm too much of a realistic.

Mikel shoudn't be allowed to play for a while. The club should punish him that way.

stoch to get 45 mins up front with drogba. kalou to move to the wing for malouda/deco at half time (whoever is the sh*ttest)

van der sar has taken cech's record as well for going over 1025 mins without conceding a league goal...never thought i'd see it beaten so soon

Well, it shouldn't be Van Der Saar's record IMO. With Cech, he really did work for that 1000 minutes and saved us so many times. It's the defence that have given him the record, not him.

Have to say ManU is really strong. They look like us few years back. I think something has to happen for us to catch them or even compete with them in some level. I think Liverscum is going to be the team we compete with this year.

Villa also looks to be winning these scrappy games and collecting three points more than often. The league is really close this year.

Now that Villa shoved us to 4th place we need to win today. More pressure, yippee..

It is going to be really crucial month for us as Wilkins said in SkySports. We need to win every league game and Watford in the FA and get a result against Juve. We are in for some real nailbiters. Scum in the prem as well. <_<
