How Does Jose Actually Do It?
Sounds like he was watching the first Mourhino spell thinking 'I'm sick of winning all these games, I wanna lose a bit more'

How Does Jose Actually Do It?
What players can't do the basics right!? I can't stand this argument of 'real football' I find passing football boring for the most part, when it comes off and a great goal is scored it looks brilliant but when teams dont have world class players and play that type of football (arsenal) its such slow build up and let's teams defend easier cause they just pass from the back. Counter attacking football has always been my preference, knowing we can score a goal at anytime is much more exciting. I don't want to see teams try and walk it in

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I hope he does get a run out for a few games at least, when were looking comfortable, a few games to adjust this year and hopefully be quicker to start next season

14/15 Kit News
Yeah it was kappa, I remember it well, I was younger and decided to wind my old man up telling him I was a massive Italy fan, made him get me a shirt, they then went on to win the World Cup, he was not happy. I think they decided to get rid of em because fans probably weren't bothered about how difficult other fans found it to pull them back

How Does Jose Actually Do It?
I think it's a myth that we won't play entertaining football anyway, just cause we don't always pass the ball to death, we do what it takes to win, sometimes it's defend and nick one goal but our pace and skill from our attacking three midfielders has been enjoyable viewing for me. Playing attractive football at all costs is the best way not to win trophies

The Next 11 Games
Think that's wishful thinking, I've seen nothing to suggest Man U can win, their defence is dreadful

The Next 11 Games
Just seen two of your comments in different threads and liked both, youre talking sense. We can't just expect to beat every team, it just doesn't work like that, it's how my little cousin thinks 'Chelsea should beat said team, they're near bottom)' all clubs have qualities and recognising isn't necessarily a bad thing

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I've just been through our results this season, we have won almost every game where we have had a week to prepare, pretty much every slip up has came on a midweek game or after one, possibly justa coincidence but maybe the preparation that a whole week gives us is vital to picking up points? Just a theory

Chelsea's Oscar a £40m target for Paris St-Germain
Since selling mata our players are all being linked for big money moved, were not a selling club, we won't be selling Oscar Jose is basically building his team round him, I love the daily mail, top entertainment (Just noticed the link was from the telegraph but I read it on DM site)

Josh McEachran
I think you're right, if a player is sold can be like a new start and can do wonders. I guarantee well have another matic/sturridge situation soon enough all these players aren't gonna break through so some will be sold, maybe just get rid of em all now with long buy back options, the future of loaning...

Cech or Courtois?
I don't think you can compare strikers to goalkeepers, completely different pressure and a lot easier to adapt than playing outfield
-
Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Yeah I think it was 0-0 at the time as well, maybe a good time to get a miss out the way
-
Josh McEachran
I honestly thought he might of been one of the first to break through since JT, we just can't do it we like to spend to much, even Bertrand who played in the champions league final-admitidaly through limited options- is our 5th choice (azpilicueta, cole, buying shaw, buying someone else) Even if josh excelled on loan he would struggle to break in, Sturridge is testament to that, maybe a 12 year stint for Jose would see a change in our mindset but I put our poor record of youth players progression down to managerial change, one l will like a player one won't. Josh has got to give up soon, he's not even close.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
David Luiz knows how to take a penalty under pressure, ones against bayern were almost unstoppable. Having said that I remember a poor one vs Genk, an odd thing to boast but I think we're now one of the strongest teams in the world for penalties, the only player I could see missing is the striker playing.

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
I have more confidence going into the games that should are harder on paper, we've performed really well against the teams were competing with and Mourhino almost always gets the tactics spot on, I worry about our mindset for what should be routine wins sometimes.

Aston Villa v Chelsea (PL) 15/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
Weirdly worried about this one, as has been said villa seem to always give us a good game, a week without games will help, finally some much needed rest for our players

Josh McEachran
I have been disappointed by his progress whenever he got a run out in the cups he played really well and everyone seemed to have a high opinion of his, I just can't see how he'll break into our squad let alone get minutes, don't really see him as a number ten especially with out wealth of attacking players. I think the other young players are a lot closer to having a Chelsea career (piazon, romeu, chalobah, van ginkel) I can't see many youth players coming up and playing for Chelsea, even when they do well On loan they're not guaranteed to kick on

Ivanovic to PSG?
From sky sports; Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has insisted he is the 'happiest' he has been at Stamford Bridge as the club fight for the Premier League title. Ivanovic joined Chelsea over six years ago from Lokomotiv Moscow and the Serbia international has made over 250 appearances for the club. He has recently been linked with a summer move to Paris St Germain, but the 30-year-old is enjoying his time under Jose Mourinho. The Blues currently lead the table by four points and Ivanovic is delighted with the potential that lies within Mourinho's squad. "I can say this is the happiest I have been at Chelsea because, at the moment, the team is doing well and things are going right for us," said Ivanovic ahead of Serbia's friendly with the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday. "We have improved as a team since the beginning of the season, it looks like we are a very strong team but we have the potential to make and build an amazing team." I think we'd be mad to let him go, great cover for cb, knows the prem well, has big match experience, always works hard and can score a vital goal here and there. He's been one of the most consistent players over the years, but unfortunately that means he won't be playing in the final...

Strikers
Schurrle was good in front of goal but he is better at running in behind defenders and the reason it works so well was him coming in from out wide and not being marked as the main focal point. Playing him as a striker will just result in teams marking him more and not getting the best out of him, why change his position when it worked well? Eto'o a home Torres away

Chelsea v Spuds (PL) 08/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
They have one mid week against united 25th march any others still need to be arranged, possibly another 3 still. I agree with you on Pelligreni, not convinced of his quality
-
Chelsea v Spuds (PL) 08/03/14 KO 17:30 GMT
If we get 23 points without losing to Liverpool I think it'll be enough to win it. Would put us on 86 points, If we draw at lpool they'd have to win every other game to be on 87 points, so would only need them to draw again to stay ahead, city getting 30 points seems a lot with fixtures piling up, with another midweek game to be arranged if (when) they get through in the fa cup just gives them more chances to mess up. Working on 23 points city can't afford more than than 3 draw and a loss for 27 points or lose twice and draw one to get 28 points from 12 games putting them on 84 or 85, maybe it's optimistic to expect city not to win 3 or 4 games but they looks a lot more beatable since we turned em over. 23 points being our goal we can either; Win 7 draw 2 lose 1 (23) win 8 lose 2 (24) Not considering arsenal as a threat anymore

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
When Torres has a good day he is top for me, admittedly that's rare, for consistency Eto'o normally brings the most to the team and can play well without scoring

New Striker in Summer
It did, doubt he actually made the decision though. If we had Sturridge on form instead of Ba on the benched we'd walk the league.

Fulham v Chelsea (PL) 01/03/14 KO 15:00 GMT
Fulham away a couple of seasons ago was my highlight from Torres' Chelsea career,I think it was the second game he played after we'd signed him, he played sh*t but singing his name for the whole of the second half was probably one of the best things he bought to the club.
