I think head to head is much better in a short league phase, espiacially for the smaller teams that wanna defend and nick results. otherwise it often comes down to who can beat the whipping boys by the most and it's not really fair if one teams strengths are in attack and ones are in defence.

I don't get the thinking behind that Bobby, you do eventually have to play the top teams but avoiding them can give you a much better chance of winning it. The top teams can be avoided till the semis at least and I'd rather wait till then to play the elite.

These players play every game knowing their position is safe, they don't need to fight for their place, they have cruised through games and seem complacent. Not only that they have been playing a crazy amount of minutes, we haven't looks fresh all game and I think the lack if rotation is catching up with us.

Did literally everyone else see that goal coming when they got he ball down the right hand side, didn't close them down and left them an option was shouting to close, dreadful defending cant see us scoring

With all the talk of creating unbeaten records ect it does seem like an upset is on the cards.

The improvement that £150m would make to united would be compatible to us spending £30-40m. While they might have a financial edge we are far more advanced in having a balanced team and when they're panicking over paying for players just to fill gaps we can bide our time and make sure we find the right player at the right time that suits us. Also I feel we are as much of a package now and are the most attractive team in the PL for any player. Our wages may be smaller but if its a bidding war and were keen I'm sure we can find some wiggle room and be fine for FFP.
