I've said before re lampard that city are using him very well, we normally started him deep and asked him to play a holding role which just isn't his game, they use him as an impact sub further forward, he gets in and around the box, finds space and gets goals like the frank we saw for years. As much as it hurts seeing him score for our biggest threat to the title it doesn't change my opinion on him in the slightest.

They have very winnable fixtures and on the up in terms of results. If we don't win against Tottenham the gap could be the difference of one game.

Think we're gonna get caught, really so see city kicking on and putting together something like a 10 game winning streak

Honestly feel City will kick on after Bayern game, comfortable win today and a good run if form from now on, if we do our business it won't matter but City can and will only get better.

So no change to last season then, this league is gonna be a lot f**king harder than people have been saying, do that against us and we won't win half the time. Not winning against Tottenham and the season looks very different already.

I'm by no means a fan of these guys and agree they are talentless idiots but they are getting the reaction they want out of people like you. The game wasn't called off and it's not like they ran on whilst a player was through on goal, it is harmless really whilst being stupid, but I just can't get my head around the people that get really offended by it when they weren't affected.

Just think of the status he would bring to our club, if we ever want to become a super club like barca/Madrid/united this would be a perfect way to start, especially if he were successful. I think this is gonna be a big non story but is a good one to speculate about.

They've still only lost 3 games (joint 3rd fewest) this season only the top 3 have lost less with Southampton and City on 2 , got a feeling this will be very tough game and any win would do me.

There is now a Chelsea fan channel on YouTube. The interviewer is very spoilt claiming we should be beating the 10 man West Brom 5-0, saying its not good enough, he feels goal difference could be vital and it was a wasted opportunity; it's extremely rare for GD to come into play and reserving energy will pick us up more points and making it irrelevant. I don't think he understands the idea of saving energy in games which can be a massive advantage over a long season. He moans about Costa in every interview saying he's close to a suspension every game, he questions if Jose is the man to control his temperament and asks if Rafas Spanish connection would of been better for Costas game, he even asks if we should recall Torres. He imposes his view on the fans he's interviewing and feels more concerned about getting validation for his view than getting the fans perceptive. It feels like a parody but I don't think it is. I know some people have called for a channel but every other channel just gets mocked by other teams and have characters which "represent" that clubs fans. I hope I'm not alone on wanting this channel to ended as soon as possible.

I agree that he has earnt the right to go where he wants but we really have to consider being more selfish as a club. We are helping arsenal with one of their biggest weaknesses in their teams. Where do we draw the line? If we get Verane (hypothetically) and we have no need for say Ivan, do we let them have Ivan for cut price? With those two additions Arsenal would look very strong and possibly only a cdm from being a real threat. I'm against selling to rivals but if its at the right price and if it won't com back to bite us I can accept it, for that price and for the improvement it would make to their team I just don't see how it makes any sense whatsoever, especially considering there would be other offers on the table, either force Arsenal to make the highest bid or upset Cech.

At least with mata the fee was massive and it was obvious that he wasn't really the player they needed. Arsenal have needed a keeper for years and they might get one of the best around for cut price. We can't just go around filing other teams needs and as RFC said youd never see our rivals doing the same for us.

Agree, but I just never bought the story that Jose was devastated and cried when he heard the news. I like the story in the article but not only that it seems to make more logical sense, rather than the hearsay that was previously reported. (Admittedly this story has no hard evidence but seems to stand up more than one persons account without anything to back it up)

Quite a few places linking us to Reus now, saying he is a 'priority signing'...I hope he is because if everyone stays fit we have an almost perfect team and other than JT and Ivan we have a team for a good few years.

I dont understand why people think Chmabers should be CB, he can't defend so why put him there? He goes forward like a naive RB but does attack well, he wasn't first choice for Southampton and its clear why, very young but getting shown up.
