  1. In YOUR opinion. What makes your opinion about that valid?
  2. Again, gross exaggeration and hyperbole.m My previous comments apply. And again with the Emerson. Yes, we know you love him and RLC, but I like Emerson and I can see that he is a downgrade on Alonso, in or out of form. I don't remember one single performance from Emerson anything above poor-to-average, your typical 4-5/10. If there was an outstanding MOTM performance that I have missed, I'm sure that you will point that out to me, with supporting evidence from Youtube. I'm not convinced that Alonso is the way forward for us, and, at the moment, he is far from at his best, but, on performances so far, if Emerson is the answer, it was a f**king silly question in the first place. Now Ruben, I'll give you that, the lad is coming along nicely.
  3. Please, miss, I did, miss, it was me, miss!
  4. Probably some 13-year old who has a lot of time on his/her hands to go trawling the depths of youtube for self-justification.
  5. Oh dear me, that's a bit sad mate. You do know that the entire Conservative parliamentary party went to university, right?
  6. Jeeezus f**king christ, that is f**ked up. So, according to you the KKK lynching negroes in America was justified, because that got people's attention. The Charlie Hebdo attack was justified, that got people's attention, some dumb f**kwit drives a truck into a crowd - yep that got my attention. I don't know what the f**k you are on, nor what sort of education you had, but you are one insane bastard if you truly believe that. BUT, I don'y think you do truly believe that, I just think you read it somewhere and are just some half-wit poser.
  7. Sorry, that was my joke that went flying over about all of the various arseholes you mentioned. My point is that the governments are what governments are, totally self-serving politicians of whichever end of the spectrum. We had people earlier claiming Stalinist Russia and Red China were left-wing governments instead of a fascist dictatorship and a tyrannical collectivism. Ultimately, people are either community-oriented or self-centred to varying degrees. Where you fit in that spectrum defines what sort of character you are. If people have a need to define that, lazily, in my opinion, as left and right, then so be it. To me it's people who care and people who don't. That's all there is to it.
  8. Just looking at the picture sequence above, it looks like Alonso was covering Christensen who was out of position, and then was trying to get back to prevent what actually happened. I'd have to see the video to be any more certain of anything than that, but then I don't have an agenda against any of our players, so maybe an unbiased opinion isn't what is required.
  9. In your opinion But, seriously, I think we all get too hung up on the left/right communist/capitalist labels. In my mind, it's simple, really. Are you a person who cares about others, is blind to race, colour, creed or sexual orientation, wants for the less well off to be assisted by those who have, is not afraid of other people simply because they are different or are you a twat person who is more concerned with your own wellbeing to the detriment of others, is fearful and distrustful of people from different races, orientations or backgrounds, is happy for there to be the need for food banks and for people to be forced to sleep in bus-shelters as long as it's not outside your house, and are quite content to see your own government supplying arms to truly disgusting regimes for them to use against primary schools. Simple choice, easily made.
  10. No, ban people who post racist comments. Simple, really.
  11. I find it quite amusing that you mention embarrassing yourselves, given the outright bollocks you have posted in here and the ridiculous racism you have, so far, gotten away with. (Mods take note!)
  12. Could it be that you are upset because they have ladies in them? https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ladies+in+basques&rlz=1C1GGRV_enGB751GB751&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwimn5Hs7avfAhXFbFAKHdFDD4AQ_AUIDigB&biw=1536&bih=724
  13. You're arguing with an idiot, mate. He'll be quoting you the famous "60 metres in 11 seconds" thing in a minute, as if it actually meant anything at all, as if footballers are purely sprinters. I would expect that this arse was complaining because Zola couldn't do the 100 metres in 9 seconds as well. Never has a good word to say about anything Chelsea, and always jumps on the band-wagon of moaning once some others start scapegoating a particular player. Best ignored,as there will never be a a rational, football-based comment or idea to be gained.
  14. One of those, too.
  15. I'm fairly sure that, regardless of new manager, United can turn this season around. All they need to do is bring one of their famous stars out of retirement
  16. If you truly believe that, and aren't just using hyperbole, fairly ineptly it must be said, as a debating tool, then you have very little or no understanding of football at any level. Now, we know and accept that you do have a rudimentary grasp of some of the elements of football. Therefore, you are just being argumentative and exaggerating to make a laboured point. But well done, you, for having a plucky go. Oh, and at the start of the season you were mostly moaning because Emerson wasn't getting a "fair" chance to stake his claim to the first team position. When he has had a chance, he's hardly become a contender for the Ballon D'Or, has he?
  17. I've already got one
  18. But, but, but......... what do we have in our lives if we can't moan constantly about one (or more) of our players?
  19. Number 102
  20. I've never said he's a brilliant player, I've always said that some people in here try too hard to pick up on any little mistake that he makes and blow that up into some sort of HUGE cock-up,and you are usually one of them. AND, apart from winning the free-kick and then scoring from it for our first goal, Willian, according to you, "isn't having a very good game"! Some people doing player ratings above have him on 7/10, and just a very quick look at some player rating sites show the following "The 30-year-old ran the show and was the difference maker for his side until his 55th-minute substitution. 7" "He scored a quality free-kick, after he earned the set-piece, and constantly beat his marker to get to the byline. He often lacked numbers in the box to find. 7" "Stunning free-kick set Chelsea on their way to a 100 per cent group record - and generally looked lively. One of the few senior members of the starting XI, Willian led the way in attack for the Blues. 7.5" "Willian – 8 First shot on target and it was a Willian free-kick that cureled in to give the Blues the lead on the night – these are the kind of situations the Brazilian thrives in." So, it would appear that most of the viewing public, both amateur fans like us, or professional reporters employed by football web-sites and newspapers disagree with your dislike of Willian's performances. It's sad Scott, because a lot of the time you post some sensible stuff, but this Willian obsession you have is making you look a bit silly at times, and have you teetering in the edge of being regarded in the same light as the prat who thinks Dave has a poor work ethic and bad personality - and that would be a shame.
  21. How can you have Willian at 7/10? He was sh*te, acciording to some in here.
  22. If you say so, mate. I didn't see him misplace 4 or 5 passes all the time he was on the pitch. I just think that you and several others are just too quick to criticise Willian and other scapegoat players of your choice, without any logic or justification, but just because you are looking out for any error by those players. as I've said many times in here, particularly Willian gets dog's abuse in here that I NEVER hear at the Bridge, and some of the anti-Willian posts in here tonight have just been shameful.
  23. @Scott Harris You are letting your Willian-hate get the better of you. He had misplaced ONE pass before you were posting your "Willian can't pass a ball to save his life" post. He hasn't given it away much at all, and definitely not more than anyone tonight. Sadly, Ruben has been guilty of losing the ball more than anyone tonight. I don't know what match you are actually watching, but Willian has been good tonight, and man of the first half, streets ahead of anyone else on the pitch, according to the commentators on my stream. Really, mate, judge players on what they do, NOT on what you think of them generally. Oh, and tell me exactly what you think Barkley has done to warrant a place tonight.
  24. I see the usual suspects are posting their usual Willian moans, despite how he is playing, Ruben having probably the worst half of football I have seen from him in a Chelsea shirt and I don't know what Barkley brings to the table. Still, a scratch team, playing together for the first time in a dead rubber, and STILL people are whingeing! Not spoilt, us armchair Chelsea fans, are we?
