  1. Ok, so you can't actually find any examples of what you accuse me of, but that's OK because I'm derogatory and a bully. Bless. I'm not sure what you mean by a snowflake, so don't know if you are one or not. If you think anything posted on an anonymous internet forum about anything counts as bullying, you either have had a very sheltered life, are quite a fragile personality. As I said, if you can show me any post of mine that conforms to the weird interpretation you have placed on my forum activity, I'll be extremely surprised but will apologise profusely. But this is the second time in this little interaction I've asked and nothing has been forthcoming, so I suspect that you are really just trying to wind me up. I'm well too mellow for that to work. I've been wound up before by experts. And @Liam
  2. But that bit is just a lie from Sky. they say themselves in the same article that no agreement has been made. Twice. So why pick out of that the most negative interpretation you can?
  3. Did you actually read that? really? Did you? " Nevertheless, the transfer is not yet in a dry towel." "However, the blues continue to try to convince the 18-year-old offensive talent to stay in London at least until the summer. " So NO, not accepted at all. Which is what you said, and which I took issue with. Like I have said many a time, you constantly post the most negative rubbish you can find. All the time. Some of us have to keep a balanced and realistic watch on what you and others are posting so that the more faint-hearted of us don't actually go believing your bullsh*t.
  4. Why is it that you can pretty much constantly criticize RLC and Emerson, or at least deny when they have a good game, but when someone criticizes Alonso you instantly jump in? You need to actually read what I write, rather than making assumptions. Show me one post I have ever made criticising either one of those (or any other of our players) when they have had a good match. Just one. I am quite happy to criticise any player, Alonso and Willian included, when they actually have a bad game. I "jump in" as you put it when any player is getting criticised regardless of how they have actually played. I'm a simple soul, really. Keep it realistic and based in fact and I'll agree with everyone. Just be a whiney w**ker because you have taken against a player for some reason and I'll comment.
  5. There is NOTHING anywhere saying we have accepted an offer. Nothing. Nowhere. NADA. Talk about over-the-top reactions. "blowing up indeed" - Two newpapers and the S*n - all quoting the same Sky report. get a grip FFS.
  6. He isn't. It's only a few people like you who think he is, and I think that's more to do with a healthy, man-on-man love for Emerson than anything else related to his actual performances.
  7. Always a special reason, eh?
  8. mate. CHO is the current great potential that has to be held to different standards because we need a beacon of hope. Not saying the lad isn't going to be great, I think he is and justifies a starting place (maybe not against Spuds, but I wouldn't be gutted if he did), but some people don't seem to have the self-awareness to realise the dichotomy between abusing Morata because it was "only Forest" whilst going slightly overboard about CHO's performance regardless of the fact it was "only Forest". Actually, CHO was a bit subdued in the first half, and I needed to have a good stiff word with him at half time to get him to step up a gear, which he did. Also, it does tickle me a bit that Morata's goals can be wittily dismissed as "only tap-ins" by someone who I suspect has never actually played the game at any level above school/sunday soccer. But then, acknowledging that they were both well taken goals doesn't fit the agenda. And this isn't me saying Morata is any good, just that if people criticise and abuse even the GOOD things that the player they hate does, they just make themselves look a bit of a prat. I could quite happily agree if someone said "Morata is not the striker for us, but he took his two goals well on this occasion", but no, some people can't even bring themselves to be just tad gracious in any way.
  9. BUT it should never, ever be considered as in any way acceptable. Ever.
  10. In the sense that is being implied. Thinking back as far as my senile old mind can manage to all of the matches this season, and all of the goals we have conceded, by far the majority did not come down our left-hand side, and we look much more vulnerable to quick penetrative strikes through the middle. Of the few that came down our left, most appeared to be a clusterf**k of everyone cocking up, but that doesn't suit the agenda of scapegoating Alonso, does it? Oh, and Maldini was never fast, but he did have a supreme football brain. I don't have any great love for Alonso, but I feel he gets abuse where it is not warranted, and that's why I defend him. Same applies to the undeserved criticism that some people cut-and-paste in here for other scapegoats of choice, regardless of actual performance or contribution to the team. And yes, most definitely get CHO involved tomorrow night in some capacity. I'm quite taken by the suggestions above of coming on against tired legs, but I'd be equally happy if he starts.
  11. Yep, not arguing with that, I said "I grant he's not the fastest", but he is far from "a liability", has been a very good player for us and was in the PFA team of the year only last season. And I think Maldini might dispute your "Every top left back" having "pace in abundance" So, yes he could be improved upon, but is nowhere near as bad as some FIFA-playing teenagers might claim. And @RIP Mourinho, as well. I don't really know what it is worth, but fourfourtwo.com has him in the top ten of lcurrent eft backs in world football. Are they a reliable source or are they just a Marcos Alonso fan site?
  12. I thought he walked off looking a bit shamefaced, but still clapping the crowd. He obviously wasn't happy about being subbed, though
  13. To be fair, he has been quite a liability in previous matches, though. And that has been against "lower" opposition. And I'm not sure what part of Alonso's play you consider to have been a liability, anyway. I grant he's not the fastest, but you are in a very small minority, even in here, who have such animosity to wards him.
  14. What "hate" Do you honestly, really, truly think he played well? Particularly in the first half? Objective player review google says " EMERSON A decent free-kick effort early in the first half was about as good as it got for the left-back. Morata should have finished off from his looping cross soon after, but a surprisingly quiet night for the fringe man." No hate from me towards ANY of our players, not like some in here. I know you have a manly erection for Emerson nearly all of the time, but he really wasn't that good.
  15. Now you're really trying too hard, mate. Neither one shone in the first half. I had a few words of encouragement with CHO during half-time, and look how that turned out. Sadly, not so much with Emerson.
  16. No, Emerson usually has quite a bad game. I can't think of any time he's played when I thought "Wow, he's good"
  17. Other than Morecambe and Wise, obviously :)
  18. I should phone the manager, share your great experience and knowledge and tell him mate, then Willian will get dropped immediately.
  19. Odd that so many people are getting wound up because Morata isn't smiling. I expect that that these are the same people who got all wound up about Luiz smiling in a game some time ago. (not a defence of Morata, just an observation about fickleness and favouritism)
  20. Yeah, but you need to look at the time my post was posted.
  21. I'm not sure why, it looks like the same old, same old to me. We're playing a B-team and it looks like it. A lot of passing around, no penetration, and when we do get through some muppet goal-keeper has the match of his life. (Apparently this is the second gaem of a lifetime this one has had against us, was keeper for Bradford some years ago as well) Morata can't buy a goal. Or a free kick, it seems. Callum's been OK but nothing special, I' ve been impressed with Ampadu, and Emerson has shown why he is behind Alonso again. Not going tp say anything much about RLC except it was a peformance of mixed quality, sometimes he looks like a genuine talent, and a couple of times he looked a bit like me playing. AND, as I type that, CHO steps up and does something to justify all the hype.
  22. WOW! I had forgotten that massive achievement. OK, man of the match against relegation fodder who had just been promoted AND a decent half match in a pre-season friendly before that. AND I won't even mention the match-winning performance against the Barcelona of Wiltshire, the mighty Swindon Town FC. Seriously, a decent match and a half in a Chelsea shirt never, ever indicated what he might go on to become, and if you say that you saw it then, you are lying. That's all.
  23. I'm not the master of hindsight, so couldn't possibly say. All I can say is that Salah was total sh*te in a blue shirt, never ever showed any potential to be anything other than a slightly ineffective SWP. So far in hos career he has had ONE season of looking like a world-class player. Just the one. This season, as far as I have seen, he's doing alright, but not blowing teams away, so maybe he;s been found out a bit. De Bruyne was also pants for us, never showed anything in a blue shirt other than a single half in a pre-season friendly, but wasn't patient enough to wait his chances. I know that millions and millions of football experts in this forum KNEW, from when he was 3 that he was going to be a decent mid-fielder, and told us so at the time. Oh, wait, no, they didn't tell us at the time. There are hardly any posts from that time saying that KdB was going to be huge, if there were any at all. I can't be arsed to go scrolling back through, but a simple search on KdB and World-class returns no results. Anyone who tells you they knew then and said about it is either lying or confused. (I'm being generous with the "confused") So, if we could see the future, we'd all be lottery winners, every week.
  24. Can't speak for Dicky, but I only moan about a few specific people moaning without any reason or justification, just to have a go at their scapegoat player of the week/month/season/whatever, or to have a go at the club/board/manager/owner/tea lady/whatever. again without reason or logic. The forum as a whole I find to be a calming and satisfying place, full of decent, honest, upright Chelsea fans from around the world, most of whom have fine and perceptive insights into the world of football in general and Chelsea in particular. And then there are the twats, wind-up merchants and idiots that we all know about.
